Every year at the holidays, I bake my Mimi's crescent cookies. I always hesitate to start because I know I am going to be grinding walnuts for a couple of hours. I am now "the Mimi" so my hands don't have the strength they used to. I decided to try this product but was wary because I cook everything from scratch and don't want to take the time, effort and expense if something I make fails because I tried a short cut. Well, happy day, the cookies were as good as ever and I know my Mimi would have been happy to have these ground walnuts when she was baking. Truth be told, I would have been happy to have them when she was baking as I was usually the one standing in her kitchen grinding the walnuts for her.

Very nice! The pkg arrived and it looked like there's no way that was a full pound because there was a lot of air at the top. However I set it on my digital scale and sure enough it was a full pound plus .06 extra!Had to make some baklava for a sick friend who requested and my arthritis is acting up and I didn't know if I could deal with grinding down all the walnuts I use for mine. So it was very nice to have this option, although it's not even offered at the grocery store. But with Prime, it came in just two days so I was thrilled.

I use this in salad, soup, cereal, sprinkle it on meat & chicken,fish. I use it in all kinds of foods. It tastes good & the price is good for the amount I get.

I put this in a sweet recipe and it masked the rancid flavor.

Ordered Ground, recieved whole walnuts instead. And it's too late to repurchase because I needed these for an event. 0/10, never buying from this brand again.
