Better than class d
Class A/B. Way better sounding than Class D amps like the Seymour Duncan power stage.

Mostly great!
This amp is almost perfect, it is simple and to the point, compact, warm, and has plenty of power. The only issue is the hiss, it hisses like a 1980's solid state amp! It's tolerable but it seems like it should be avoidable. I would still buy it again for all the other pluses.

I'm very happy I bought this
The media could not be loaded. I bought the ISP Technologies Stealth Ultra Light Power Amplifier to replace my Marshall DSL40CR that I ruined by accident (none of the electrical components work). Luckily the speaker on the Marshall is still working. I been using it with the ISP Amp and I couldn't be happier, even when my Marshall was working, having all those (13) control knobs and (5) push button options. I'm happier with the Ultra Light Power Amp with only a volume, bass and treble (3) knobs. And it cost less than half of the $1,000 I spent on the DSL40CR. I love how small and lightweight it is. It's so easy to carry and move around, and put away when not in use. If I had to buy a new Amp and money wasn't really a problem, I would definitely buy the ISP Technologies ULPA $340 over the Marshall DSL40CR tube amp $1,000. Without thinking twice. The sound quality and tone is way better IMO. Marshall has always been too overpriced and trendy for my liking anyway. ISP knocked Marshall down on my list. 100% satisfied customer here.
