Its quite quite a job feeling like you know who to trust with getting aftermarket batteries. I would have preferred genuine Sony but not for £60 a battery. I think the worst thing I could have done was buy "sony" from ebay for £30 which must be fakes that are so bad they can't even put their own brand on them. Smallrig seem to be a quality achieving company usually so I gave these a shot. I was a bit worried at first as they didn't seem to charge fully but I think the mAh reading is how much charge has been added NOT what is the capacity at that point. If the charging is interrupted for any reason that reading starts again and just shows how much was added from that point.As it says in the manual to charge to full at least 3 times I guessed they need some training to reach their full potential. After initially charging them I left them recording at 4k in my A7SII which lasted a bit under an hour at first, then gradually more each time I recharged until about and hour and 10 minutes the third time which is excellent compared to even the Sony ones I saw in tests. The camera reads the battery as depleted about 10-15 minutes before it actually stops recording, I guess this is the camera at fault, but once you know this, if like me you've done the excellent openmemories time limit hack you can record confidently for 1 hour before changing battery.I can't say about self discharge yet, if that's bad I'll update the review, if no update then they are not bad.The charger is clearly an intelligent type which recharges in stages reducing input when closer to the full mark which should be good for longevity. I've ordered another 2 lots to have 6 batteries in total, can record for 6 hours of 4k at 100mb.So far I think they are amazing value compared to Sony, 4 batteries of equal capacity with 2 dual chargers so I can recharge all 4 at once, all for the price of one Sony battery. I would say though its a good idea to do as I have done, fully charge, fully discharge in the camera and fully recharge a few times before normal use.

These are great for powering a range of devices which support the Sony L series batteries. The batteries seem to be of good quality with great runtimes.The included charger works well although is perhaps not the fastest.These are great for powering a video monitor or portable lighting. The Sony L series is widely used and there are a range of adaptors available to allow these higher capacity batteries to be used with various video equipment.

So far all good, getting similar amount of images that with the original Sony.

It charges batteries fine and has a nice status screen. It plugs in via USB A, which makes it pretty versatile.The gripe I have is that I left 2 batteries in it after I had charged them both fully and a few weeks later they were both fairly discharged. I haven't tried leaving just 1 battery in it for a few weeks.It's going to be either eddy currents flowing between the 2 batteries or the charge circuitry itself slowly discharging them. So I now just leave them in there upside down once I've charged them.

Sony's NP-FZ100 batteries are best-in-class but costly, and its external charger for them exhorbitant - a real issue as its A6700 and other cameras come without one.I own several SmallRIg products and have found it to be a high quality reliable brand making quality products at an acceptable (but not cut price) cost. This set is no different.An advantage over Sony's charger is that you can power-up two cells at once (beneficial as they take hours to recharge) and the readout gives you a better indication of how long there is to go. You're going to want to use the USB-C socket to accelerate things, but there's a handy built-in USB-A cable if you don't have one to hand.The batteries don't last quite as long as Sony's, but there's not a huge amount in it. Mine have worked without a hitch so far.Bearing in mind the set costs less than the price of a single Sony cell, it seems a bit of a no-brainer as a purchase.

Works well, cheaper alternative than Sony originals but work just the same. Buy one

The media could not be loaded. This produch look sooo genuine considering it is a 3rd party. Small rig is a well onown brand. Have not tried the batteries yet as they currently charging but i doubt there will ne an issue. And if there is i thing i can trust the small rig CS tohelp me resolve any issues . But still believe there will be no issues

Bought a set, and discovered that one of the two batteries doesn't charge properly. Brought it up to Smallrig who were more than happy to replace the product for a set that worked.I've bought quite a few of these non-Sony NPF batteries and I've noticed there's a huge difference between their build quality. If you shake the cheaper batteries, you can feel the cells moving inside - that isn't the case here - the Smallrig batteries are solid, marked correctly with their true capacity and don't appear to be losing their charge over time.Recommended.

Kein billiger Abklatsch. Trotzdem günstiger als das Original. Alles sehr wertig und vor allem, kompatibel zu meiner Canon R7. Empfehlung.

I needed one or two extra batteries for my a7II. Also, I like having an external loader. This fits the bill perfectly.
