Crunchy. Tasty. Healthier snack.
Felt they were very crisp and that crisp gave that addicting quality to them. The quality where you keep eating them and didn’t even realize how much you had eaten. I love they are a healthier option but I do feel the different flavors fall short. Feel they do need a little more flavor. Other than that. I’m glad I found these.

Worst Of The 3 Flavors
The Sun Poppers are like the poor relations of the LesserEvil brand. They are not easy to find in stores or online and generally do not get the attention of the popcorn, Paleo Puffs, or Power Curls. However, I like the Sun Poppers and go out of my way to order them when they are available. However, I have decided to stop ordering the Himalayan Pink Salt flavor. It is bland and has a greasy texture compared to the other two flavors, the Nacho and the Sour Cream & Onion. The Sour Cream & Onion is my favorite, but for some reason it is harder to find online. And the Nacho is REALLY really hard to find. The Himalayan Pink Salt is higher in saturated fat which probably explains the greasy mouth feel. 1 gram of saturated fat per serving VS. half a gram per serving with the Sour Cream & Onion. (The Nacho is also 1 gram saturated fat like the Original but I do not remember it having such a greasy consistency). I was putting up with it for a while but decided, why bother when the Sour Cream & Onion is just so much better in every way.Overall though, the Sun Poppers are a decent snack if you are looking for organic, paleo, vegan, and generally something that stays away from non-healthy oils (like Canola and Corn) and offers a good mix of plant protein. The ingredients on these are: Ingredients: Organic Cassava Flour, Organic Avocado Oil, Organic Protein Blend (Organic Watermelon Protein, Organic Pumpkin Protein Powder), Organic Tapioca Starch, Himalayan Salt. The Sun Poppers will not be to everyone's liking as they are more subtly flavored and not overwhelmingly salty or savory like the average bagged snack. But if you like a bit of crunch and want something fairly clean that still has a bit of nutrition despite the processing, the Sun Poppers are a decent choice.

I love this guilty-free snack. Wish it were less expensive but it's excellent.

The sour cream and onion is flavorful without being totally overpowering. This is a really tasty snack!

They taste great, just not quite getting a sour cream flavor
Vegan Sour Cream + Onion Sun Poppers: $18.92 for three 4oz bags at the time of reviewI’m always up for trying new snacks. My wife and I enjoy a good variety and thankfully we have a number of international grocery stores near us so the variety is limited only by how daring we are. We’re also not vegan, but my best friend is so I’m always on the lookout for new vegan snacks so I can be sure to have a good variety for him.*TL;DR Review Haiku™*Tasty little puffsPricey but great for vegansWe might order more*What I liked*:These taste pretty darn good! The texture is light and fluffy with a satisfying crunch and the flavor is good. I didn’t quite register the sour cream and onion flavor in these, but my wife says she did. To me it was a tangy, savory snack. I could taste the nutritional yeast (in a good way, as that is responsible for tang that gives it a sour cream-like taste without actually using animal products).I also like that this is a 3-pack of bags, as these go down pretty quick once you start eating them (a compliment, to be sure).*What I didn't like*:The one issue I have is similar to almost all vegan foods that I try, the price. At nearly $19 for 12oz, you’re looking at $1.25/oz. That price isn’t *terrible* but you’re definitely paying the ‘vegan tax’ on it. By comparison, brand name cheese puffs (the closest analogy in texture I could come up with) are closer to 35¢/oz.*The Bottom Line:*We both really liked these vegan poppers. I have yet to have my vegan best buffy try them, but hopefully he’ll like them too. The price is a little on the high side, but I expect that for a vegan snack. Overall, we liked them enough that I’d probably five them 4.5 stars. However, seeing as I can’t give half stars (and I don’t think I can give them a 5 at this price), I settled on four stars out of five. If my buddy ends up liking them, I’ll definitely order them again.
