Works like a charm!!
This is a really nice USB adapter. I had absolutely no problem with breaking the ears off as others did. I cut the hole 24mmx22mm with a dremel cutting blade, and it fit in perfectly. I did use JB's Weld on the back side as insurance. The receptacles are tight, which is good! I use it with my Kenwood DDX9904S head unit and Android Auto, with no problems at all. I use the other receptacle for my thumb drive with 1800 songs on it. This is installed in an '09 Altima Coupe btw.

Extends ports behind your headunit
After having these for a while and with varying conditions (Sub-Zero to high temps) it still performs as it did the day I first installed it.I custom fit it in the dashboard cover that converts to the center console in my car and after using JB weld, it works perfectly!

Open box inspections are missing damage and items don’t work.
Product is great and works as intended, but I bought an open box one from amazon.I’ve been buying warehouse deals and open boxes for a long time and have saved a lot if money and have never had an issue before this. The package had previously been damaged, causing some scrapes to the plastic, and also the metal around the USB ports to be bent. I had to use a screwdriver to straighten everything out to use it. I would have returned it if i had time to order a replacement. I’ll be more wary about open box items from now on.
