dB16 8000 Watt Peak/2000w RMS Mono 2 Ohm Amplifier Car Audio Amp

I've been running this setup about 3 weeks with this amp. So far no issues, doesn't get hot. sub hits hard rather I'm watching a movie in my car or actually playing music. Will update in a month or so if anything goes wrong with continued use.

Perfect system! And i lucked up wit a great install. Out performed expectations already. Capacitor iz excellent!! Not one break in the action, no system shut offs or stand by ever. Been Rocking for two months straight!!! LOUD! Actually out lasted all my homies systems i seen growing up. And their over priced and hyped name brands blew everytime over and over again... Waste of money. Thank u ROCKVILLE for the first system equipment i ever seen be exactly wut wuz expected. #QUALITY

I had originally ordered an Orion XTR 2500.1DZ and it work for about 10 minutes total , I contacted amazon and I sent the amp back and ordered another 2500 and somehow I ended up with a bad returned amp that didn't even work. So I ended up sending it back also and I said heck with Orion and decided to cheap out and ordered the Rockville DB16 for 228.00 ... not bad for a 2000 watt CEA rated amp. I received the amp in new condition and I hooked it up to two 12" AudioPipes TXX-BD4-12 ,2 ohm subs in a sealed box and let me tell ya this amp and subs will jar your guts . The subs are rated at 1100 watts RMS each and the amp does roughly 2400 watts @ dynamic burst which works well with the 80 -90 hair band metal I listen to. The Amps are really big, like 21 inches by about9-10" wide and they look great! If you look at the pics I took you can see I'm gonna have an issue mounting them in a 99 Camaro.The Rockville Logo lights up in blue and the remote bass knob also lights up in blue and it's actually to bright at night and it will blind you and will light up your entire car, I had to put tape over it. I liked the Rockville DB16 so much I bought the Rockville DB45 and I'm curtrently running it on four JBL 6.5" 60 watts RMS coaxials and they sound phenomenal with 200 watts RMS CEA rated power on each speaker @ 2 ohms, it's acutally to much power for them and I have to run the amp gain all the way down and they are still way loud, but clean. I've ordered 4 Kicker KS series Coaxials to replace them that has higher power handling so we will see. if you want to run in competitions the Rockville amp line isn't what you need in my opinion, but if you want to add some power, great sound to your ride and actually enjoy music all at a great price then this amp(s) is for you. Set your gain right and leave the bass EQ (boost) turned off and the amp will serve you well! I ended up getting the DB16, the DB45 and a Rockville R7EQ equalizer all for less than what the Orion 2500.1DZ cost ...so if your on a budget consider what you get for the money. have a great day!

After looking over many reviews I decided to ordered this item from the seller, what made me go with this specific item was because of a discounted price listed by the seller so l placed the order after doing so I received it in a timely manner, and was pleased with the quality of the packaging, so I took it to my local installer to get it put in my car and was shocked to learn that the amp didn’t even work, irritated and upset. I never thought I would get “junk” from Amazon but ok that’s my story...

Pretty good amp, replaced my hifonics zeus 1800. i have the bass boost and gain turned all the way up because at half way my hifonics a was louder. it does thump my Orion 12 hooked up to one voice coil in a sealed box pretty good so for the money its cool, but ill prolly buy a Hifonics Brutus for $350 to run this sub, instead of buying another one of these and daisy chaining

This two amplifier works great together has a ton of power and price are pretty great would highly recommend

This is a amp that states the TRUE RMS not max or wishful thinking like many others. I have it pushing two 1500 watt rms 15" subs @ 1ohm. I have the gain half way up! This is the 8000 Watt Max @ 2000 Watt RMS amp. Good Buy Stop reading this and click buy lol

Amp isn't consistent and doesn't push what it says it does.

I was hesitant at first seeing as it was rated for 2000rms but I'll tell you this runs my 5000 watt 15 consistently and comfortable runs cool also the fact the bass actually works is a plus overall really good product and a solid amp

Hooked these bad boys up to 4 "8 inch" subs. The sound is clean and the power is amazing. For the price point of these amps I truly believe is the best bang for your buck. I would buy these amps for all my stereo needs in the future.

Piece of crap didn't work from day I got installed 35 days after I bought it manufacturer won't cover one year warranty sellers on Amazon are not authorized dealers , Amazon won't cover warranty.and seller won't cover warranty. So don't buy this 500$ paper weight

Well what I ordered was not exactly what I was expecting 8000 watt 4000 rms ? What got delivered was a little bit less or I should say .. a lot less . 2000 rms don’t ask me but I was expecting the 4000 rms . The amp sounds good and all but my 2. 12 inch Rockford fosgate punch can handle more than the amp puts out and it clips if try to push the volume past half way . You’d think they would be more accurate with whats advertised

Watched a YouTube video where they dyno this amp for actual output. 1750w rms At 2 ohm. Perfect amp for powering my two 12’s. Was on the market for a 1500w-2000w amp. Couldn’t find anything with this value. Definitely a gem.
