The Vacuum That Sucks (In a Good Way)
The Eureka PowerSpeed Vacuum doesn’t just clean my floors—it cleans my soul. This thing is an absolute beast in vacuum form. It’s so powerful, I’m half expecting it to start vacuuming things I didn’t even ask it to, like my taxes or existential dread. Suction Power: Let’s start with the obvious: this vacuum sucks. And I mean that as the highest compliment. It’s like a black hole on wheels. The first time I turned it on, I felt a breeze as it sucked up dust from across the room like it had a personal vendetta against dirt. Pet hair? Gone. Crumbs? Obliterated. Socks I didn’t know I dropped? Oops… well, now they’re in the vacuum. It’s so powerful, I had to hold on for dear life, lest I, too, be sucked into its vortex of cleanliness. Weight: Despite its power, this vacuum is as lightweight as a feather—okay, maybe a slightly heavy feather, but still. It’s shockingly easy to push around. I found myself doing a little vacuum dance across the carpet, practically pirouetting from room to room. Who knew vacuuming could make me feel this graceful? Take that, dust bunnies! My moves are unstoppable now. Pet Turbo: The pet turbo feature is like the vacuum’s secret weapon. It’s specifically designed to go to war with pet hair, and trust me, it’s winning every battle. I have a dog who sheds like she’s trying to create a new carpet on top of my existing carpet. The pet turbo attachment just rolled up like, “I got this,” and within seconds, my floors were cleaner than they’ve been since 1997. It’s like hiring a professional pet hair assassin. Versatility: This vacuum can handle everything—carpets, hard floors, rugs, you name it. It doesn’t discriminate. My carpets look fluffier, my hardwood floors are shining, and I swear my vacuum even found dirt under the floorboards. Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if it’s magic. It’s as if Mary Poppins became a vacuum cleaner and is now just tidying up my house with cheerful abandon. Drawbacks: There’s only one downside I’ve found—once you experience this kind of suction power, there’s no going back. I vacuumed my entire house in one day, and now I’m vacuuming just for the thrill of it. I’ve vacuumed the same spot three times today, simply because it’s so satisfying. I think I might have a problem, but it’s the cleanest problem I’ve ever had. Final Thoughts: The Eureka PowerSpeed Vacuum is the hero my floors deserve. It’s lightweight, it’s powerful, and it tackles pet hair like a boss. If you’re looking for a vacuum that sucks in the best way possible, this is it. Just be prepared—you might become too obsessed with clean floors. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some more vacuuming to do (even though I vacuumed 20 minutes ago).

Works well
My previous vacuum was by a very popular brand, and it was expensive. It had every feature that you could imagine and worked as an upright, canister, and handheld unit. I had it for years and hated it. Why? Because it was very heavy, unwieldy, and bulky. None of the accessories were mounted on the unit, so I never used them. It was so "sophisticated" that it had its own computer board to operate the beater brush. That was what finally did it, and I was glad. This machine is much simpler and significantly less expensive. It is lighter by a mile. All of the accessories mount on it, which is a huge plus, and it is just as powerful as the former premium unit. The cord is slightly shorter than my old vacuum, and that vacuum would turn off the beater brush when the handle was upright. I really did like that feature, but it is also what broke and turned my last vacuum into trash, so I'll live without it. I have to be honest, I'm tired of "advancement" that makes simple devices more complicated and more prone to failure. This is a basic vacuum. What does it do? It vacuums, and that is just what I need it to do.

Great Quality Value Power Love it!
This is my 3rd shark vacuum I've purchased over the last 7 years. The blue one in the picture being the oldest. I can't stress enough how amazing these shark vacuums are. We have a large family. 2 adults, 5 children, 1 dog (Shiba inu), 2 siamese cats, 1 hamster, and 2 guinea pigs! I stated the above to show the need for three vacuums. Our home needs to be vacuumed daily, if not multiple times per day. My children aging from 9 to 16 years old leave a trail of dirt everywhere they walk it seems! Lol Our dog, a Shiba inu, sheds (has a blow) 2x to 3x per year that literally fills up garbage bags with all his hair when the blows happen. My daughters guinea pigs and hamsters cages are vacuumed out daily and when all bedding is changed a deep cleaning is needed. Our cats shed all day, everyday of the year. Now that you have a little background let's get to why these sharks are the best bang for your buck. We exclusively use the blue shark for the cage cleaning of the guinea pigs and hamster. This vacuum gets the heaviest use and longest run time out of the 3. It has lasted 7+ years and done its job beyond belief. We live in a 2 story home so we use our other 2 vacuums for regular vacuuming. One stays upstairs and one stays downstairs so we don't have to lug them up and down the stairs every time we vacuum. The middle white vacuum is 5 years old now and still works as if it is brand new. The first vacuum is used for our downstairs which deals with all the kids dirt and dog hair. Each one of these vacuums serves its purpose beyond belief. I have owned many lower end vacuums in the past and just thought that is how vacuums operate, not picking much up but doing its job. I owned a Dyson for 6 days a few years back to see what all the hype was about and after using it I sent it right back because nothing compares to these shark vacuums. The maneuverability of this vacuum is 2nd to none. The suction stands out above any vacuum I've ever used. The detachable canister is a life saver while doing my stairs and getting to hard to reach areas. When I received my first shark and ran a test after using a Bissell vacuum for years I almost felt like calling Bissell and giving them a piece of my mind. The amount of hair and dirt that I picked up was truly unbelievable and honestly, disgusting! I can say without a doubt or hesitation this is by far the best vacuum you can get for your money. The longevity (7+ years heavy use), price, ease of use, and maneuverability of this vacuum make it stand apart from every other vacuum on the market in my opinion. Do yourself and your home a favor and buy it. If you don't like it.....send it back! I promise you will be so satisfied that you'll be a life long shark vacuum buyer and will recommend shark to all your friends and family!

This Vacuum Really Sucks!
We had a 20-yearold Eureka bagless that broke, and this was the nearest we found. Glad we did! It's a little larger than the broken one, but a bit less large, heavy and cumbersome than our old Hoover upright. And a lot lighter in weight! This one (somehow) came with the extra pet-hair mini roller brush, but I had to go look up the Bissell version on line to find out how to take it apart for cleaning the mini roller. Works the same, and the device is REALLY useful for getting into small places. We have a long-hair cat. With 8 amps, this thing really pulls up dirt! Seriously pulls up dirt! I set it to the low "Carpet" level, for an old shag carpet in the trailer house. I'm living here, but the owner's been here for a long time. I've been cleaning with that old Eureka, and it's (I thought) been pretty clean. I was getting a lot of fuzz, cat hair, and some fine dirt, but all in all, okay. Then I used this guy! Holy Cow!! The first pass after setting it up, there was almost an entire "bucket" container of something greyish-brown. Plus a lot of fuzz and a lot of cat hair. I asked the owner, who told me that many years ago, she'd had a flea problem and sprinkled diatomaceous earth all over. Fixed the fleas, but she never cleaned the carpets. Suddenly, I'm using this new Eureka and it's pulling EVERYthing out of the carpet! After only two times using it (back in April; it's now September), almost all that "dust" was gone. Now, I'm getting general dirt, cat hair, dust and carpet fuzz. Normal. 1. After the first-time use, with the massive amount of "newly discovered" dirt, the roller bar was almost entirely clear! No wrapped hair or anything gunked up in the brush bristles. Amazing! 2. Disassembling for cleaning, I found that the main vacuum body was almost entirely clean! No outer dust anywhere on the plastic. The only dust was at the connection hole between the body and the container bucket -- easy to clean with a swipe of a sponge or rag. 3. Cleaning the container and filter was pretty simple, but a little bit of time involved. Cleaning: A push-button on the top handle releases the catch bin as a complete unit unto itself. There's another button near the bottom of that basin, which then releases a gravity-operated "lid." BE SURE TO KEEP THE BOTTOM OF THE BUCKET WELL BELOW THE UPPER EDGE OF YOUR TRASH CONTAINER! By pushing the release button to open the bottom of the bucket, you're simply dropping out ALL the crud you've picked up in the catch basin! It comes flying out, dust-cloud and all! Still, there's some remaining junk clinging to the clear plastic bucket walls. I like "BANG!" cleaner spray, which is cheap (Dollar Tree), and works very well. I also have a spray attachment on the kitchen sink, which makes it very easy to get water inside the bucket "tube." There's a plastic "clasp" or catch you pull on, to open the top of the overall basin. I'd imagine that catch will eventually break, but who knows.....none of the plastic on the 20-yearold ever broke. With the bottom open and the top hinged back, you can clean the entire catch basin. It's large enough (easily) that you can get your hand in there with a sponge. The BANG! makes it easier, and water rinses it all out. The entire filter section comes apart, which is why I bought this. You lift out the filter assembly (the instruction manual shows how), and there are several parts. The filter itself is foam with some sort of paper on top. It's there to prevent dust from blowing into the motor, and both the bottom (foam) and top (paper) got totally covered with dust. Being gentle with it, I was easily able to clean it under running water. I couldn't find these round filters anywhere in stores, so ordered a 6-pack of replacements on Amazon. Not all that expensive. I've used and cleaned this vacuum now probably 8 times (since April, it's now September), and the filter is still pretty together. I can see it's going to degrade, but if it lasts four months (or more), then I only need to replace it three times a year. Very cost effective. And this place has all the old micro dust along with the cat hair, so the filter has to get cleaned after each use. For "normal people" and their homes, I think you could use the cleaner several times without cleaning every single time. The attachments are all there, easily stored on the body of the machine. The hose attaches to the roller base during upright use, and comes loose to attach to the handle for portable use. DO follow the instruction manual! The places for the attachments, and how to connect the different hose operations aren't immediately obvious. Some people complain that the roller bar always turns. The old Eureka had a 2-way switch for upright (with roller bar), and portable (for smooth floors and portable use). This power switch only is On/Off. I don't care. You can raise the level of the roller for "wood floors," if it really makes you anxious. All in all, having sold vacuum cleaners in the past, I'd have to say this is one of the most powerful machines I've ever seen for its size, weight, and price! Yes, it's all plastic, to keep the weight around 8-10lbs or so, but today's plastics are pretty rugged. I'm thinking it'll last long enough to be a good investment.

You get what you pay for
If you are buying this for it's attachments, Give it a PASS. For simple running the vacuum across the main carpets, it works great, all fine, although heavy and poor maneuverability. I have 9 months of frustrating experience with this vacuum cleaner due to the non functionable attachments. The pet hair roller remover, just as other reviews mention broke after 6 uses. Next, the brush attachment lasted longer, by 6 months it stopped picking up minimal dog hair shedding from my couch, it more or less moved it around but did not suction it properly. Same dwindling of success with the final small attachment for small spaces. I must say tugging the heavy cleaner around when using the hose/attachments is just painful, the hose and the attachments detach constantly, the heavy vacuum falls down... I purchased this when I was trying to save money due to some high travel expenses incurred however not even a year use and I am looking at buying something of higher quality. Please note: If you are not needing to use the attachments, this vacuum works absolutely great otherwise.

GREAT GREAT GREAT
Back in the day, and yes I'm old enough to remember, they used to sell you vacuum cleaners door-to-door and some guy in a suit would knock and there he would be with this artillery looking unit with 8,000 attachments and they would try to sell you vacuum cleaners that not only clean floors but pureed fruit, steam cleaned curtains, sharpened knives, but nowadays things are very different. Nowadays people buy a vacuum cleaner they use it and abuse it and eventually it quits working, and there's no retirement program for old vacuum cleaners so coming from our world of toss it out and get a new one, it was time for me to get a new vacuum cleaner since we have a German Shepherd and there is hair everywhere. I recommend this vacuum cleaner because the front end brushes reach closer to the floor and carpet and grab everything in sight. It has the no bag system so you unclick the chamber open it up and dump everything out. This vacuum cleaner has tremendous suction. It has a great front end brush. They're really cool feature about this vacuum cleaner is the handle comes off and you have an extended hand vacuum cleaner and you can slap on the attachments as well. As I'm vacuuming I can pull the handle and vacuum the hair off the couch suck up the dust in the corners and grab a few cobwebs on the wall. As a sidebar I wish to note that although I use this vacuum cleaner a lot my house is clean and it's not as dirty as I'm making it out to be but but I am pointing out that this little unit was very affordable less than a hundred bucks and it works better than some of the other fancy more expensive vacuums that cost a fortune. In closing I also want to add that you can easily take this thing apart and clean the inside the brushes to the point that it's working at a new level again. Highly recommend this vacuum cleaner and I was not compensated or rewarded for saying nice things.

Excellent removing Pet Hair
This is the 2nd one I've bought. This is a fantastic vacuum for those with pets. I have a Siberian Husky and often my grand-dog, who is an Australian Cattle Dog. Needless to say, I vacuum often and need a vacuum cleaner that gets up the pet hair. This does! With usung the attachments, it also works well getting hair from the furniture, corners, under, close around furniture. The last one I bought new had a vacuum versus cord incident that fried fuses. I say this to warn you of the power of the rotating brush and suction. Do yourself a favor and vacuum with cord over your shoulder. In Denver it costs more to get a cord replaced than to buy a new vacuum (go figure-everything is sky high here). I bought a replacement cord and You-Tubed how to replace it, we just haven't done it yet. It never hurts for us to have a spare as often as we use it. I bought the same model I bought before, used. The only issue is whoever put it together made a mistake with where the handle goes in. It was loose and coming out easily. Nothing a bit of duct tape didn't take care of. Excellent vacuum for pet hair!

Great budget vacuum with some trade-offs
The suction is amazing. The first time I used it, dust and debris filled up the entire canister. That’s how much dust my stick vacuum at 2x the price missed. Afterwards, it filled up like normal a quarter to halfway. PROS I have wall-to-wall carpeting, pets and long hair. This tackles all that. You can put all your attachments on the vacuum. CONS It’s heavy & bulky. You need to be able bodied to use this. By the time I get to the third room, I’m tired and have to push with both hands. I don’t recommend it for the elderly. It’s cumbersome to vacuum hard to reach areas. The hose to put attachments on is the springy type instead of static. So you’re constantly pulling on it to reach areas. You HAVE to hold down the vacuum while using attachments, because it will fall otherwise. I usually hold it with one hand and vac with the other hand. Or if I can’t do that, step on it with my foot. The canister release mechanism is on the bottom instead of on top. My old vacuum has it on top which makes it a lot easier to release the debris collected. With it on top, you just press it, and the bottom opens and releases the debris into the trashcan. With the release mechanism on the bottom, when you open it, there’s a chance the dust and debris come into contact with your hand. CONCLUSION At half the price of my previous vacuums and how much better the suction is, I’m willing to deal with the cons.

Excelente potencia

Amazing vacuum compared to pricier brands
Great value vacuum, ProjectFarm recommended this and I can see why, way better price to performance ratio compared to big name brand vacuums. Attachments work great, cleans great, everything great honestly. And 2 day prime!
