Pool Mate 3518-4PM Winter Pool Cover, Heavy-Duty Blue, 18 ft Above Ground Pools

tried to find out how to receive a new ratchet to replace the broken one I received, was never able to get ahold of the seller.....after a rainy week, since cover was not tight on the pool, it filled with water & is ripped to shreds! I've had this cover for 30 days!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE I will never purchase this again, ever!

4ft overhang my a**. We have a 24ft pool and bought the cover for a 24ft pool with 4 ft overhang. After draining the water down to the correct level and placing the cover so its touching the water like the instructions say, there's barely enough material to cover the top. I'm almost positive this thing is not going to stay on all winter long🤬

It only held up the first year. 10 year warranty is a joke. I returned it and thankfully Amazon would issue a partial refund but it was a pain to have to take it off after putting it on because water from the pool was coming up through it.

Good quality tarp like cover. We ordered bigger than needed and it doesn't come off into the pool like our original cover did.

I have spent a lot of pool covers in the past. I bought this one 2 years ago, hoping that it would be a “good” one. I was skeptical of the price. It seemed really cheap compared to the ones I used to get at the pool supply store. This cover has been awesome!Pros:- heavy duty- lasted 3 years- held a considerable amount of water on top several times.- amazing valueCons:- color fadedI went ahead and ordered another of this cover. Most of my covers last a year, maybe 2, but this guy is awesome. 3 years of hard winter use. Freezing water, rain and even my pool nearly draining because of a hole in the liner. Through it all this cover held up!

This covered my pool like I was needing and didn’t break like the one that came with the pool. Thanks for for the heavy duty one.

Great product, there only issue is the wire gets stuck when you undo it. Just make sure you completely remove the wire and then it should wind up back to how to was when you tighten it.

Seems like standard duty tarp material as opposed to the heavy duty ripstopper type. I recently bought a ripstopper type pool cover elsewhere that said it was for a 24 foot pool but it barely fit. It was way too tight and no way it would survive a winter storm. I ordered this one. So I ordered this one in 28 foot. It fits great, plenty of slack for a 24 foot pool, no worries how big the air pillow is in the middle of the pool. I was even able to cover my skimmer (leaving the bottom open). Time will tell how it will hold up over winter but it seems decent for the price. I'll probably gift the one that didn't fit to a relative with a smaller pool

Way better than the old way of covering the pool. Now it won't sag in and collect all the leaves and water to dump in the spring.

The tarp material appears rather thin. The ones we have used in the past from local pool suppliers are a thicker material and often last us 3 or 4 years. I doubt that this one will last as long.
