Great product

I eat these out of the bottle or sprinkle some on my food. They are delicious with a nut like flavor and crunch. I also mix them with fennel seeds. I have researched sesame seeds and according to the research they are very healthy. I will continue to purchase this brand.

It's sesame seeds. There isn't a whole lot to say. They came packaged great and go super good with my sushi bake.

Yum great quality sesame seeds. We love to put these in wraps or add to our poke for a nice little crunch. We even toast these for a little extra flavor. The price on here is really good and much better than at stores around the area.

Great for breads and others

Simply Organic herbs and dry spices are a staple in my pantry and for my cooking, I am always satisfied with the quality! Since the brand offers organic product and puts a lot of focus on sustainable farming, I'm very happy to support them. I usually get the white sesame seeds from the brand, but I decided to switch things out and get the black sesame seeds, expecting an unique different flavor. While they have the sesame classic flavor, these black seeds have something different (but not unique). Comparing the flavor to the white sesame seeds from the same brand, the black ones taste more `raw` and the flavor is more mild; I was actually expecting them to have a stronger and toastier flavor. I was a little disappointed at first, since I was just sprinkling them on top of Asian inspired dishes (salads, rice/noodle bowls). But then someone recommended toasting them in a pan, and that was a game changer. A couple of seconds on a hot pan is enough to bring the earthy nutty flavor. If you like your sesame seeds raw, I would highly recommend the white ones from Simply Organic, they're more flavorful and `toastier`. I really like that the spiced come in squared glass jars with metal lids. They're sturdy and they stack well on top of each other, great when organizing my spices cabinet. The sifter could have larger holes, I usually discard it with sesame seeds since a lot of shacking is required; I wish that the brand would have different hole sizes for `larger` herbs and spices or simply find a more sustainable solution than those plastic sifters. If you are ordering these because the glass jar with metal lid are recyclable, consider that most likely the jar on Amazon might be shipped wrapped in plastic bubble wrap, so you are still generating plastic use. With some orders (Especially Bottle came sealed, `Best-by-date` is almost 2 years from purchasing date. Price on Amazon highly varies, but on a good deal day I can get Simply Organic products way cheaper than my regular grocery stores. Special note: I would advise people to make sure when they order that the product is `Ships from and sold by Amazon.com`; I'm not saying all third-party vendors are shady, but you have a high risk of getting lower quality or unsealed products, even expired.
