At last!
We have a vacuum sealing machine that seals food within plastic and it works perfectly. When I bought the machine I also bought some vacuum containers, so that I could store soup or other things, but those containers lost their vacuum within a couple of hours, which rendered them less than useless. I like to cook; unfortunately I am terrible at portion control, so tend to finish up with lots of food that needs to be eaten over the next few days, so vacuum storage is a good idea for me. Having read lots of positive reviews for these containers I took the plunge and bought one large one to try it. Its arrival coincided with me making far too much Scotch broth, so I immediately called the vacuum container into service. I can confirm that these containers do retain a vacuum (unlike the other ones that I had), so I am delighted with the container and will certainly buy some more now.UPDATE: After a few months of working perfectly, my container began to stop retaining a vacuum. I contacted the manufacturer who asked a few questions, then suggested that I approach Amazon, who were happy to honour the guarantee and replaced it. I was always careful when washing the old container, so who knows why it failed. If the new one fails I will be straight back on here and let you know.UPDATE: My second vacuum container after a few months began to not hold a vacuum for long. However, I noticed that on the rubber seal, there were smatterings of what appeared to be limescale, (we live in a hard water area). So, I put some hot water with citric acid dissolved in it, in the sink and within a few minutes all the limescale was gone. Now the container is back to sealing as it should.

Premetto che la pompa aspira vuoto l'ho presa gratis con i punti dell'Esselunga. Ci metto dentro qualsiasi cosa e poi metto in frigo. Fatto il sottovuoto dura più di 10 giorni, ma merita mangiare la roba prima (max 5-6 giorni). Se installata app con il Q-Code ti dice quanto tempo la puoi tenere e poi ti avvisa. Consigliati
