Yinke 10 12 16 Clipper Guards Set Intended for Wahl Clippers, Hair Clipper Attachments with Metal Clip, 1.25 inch/1.5 inch/2 inch in Length, Fits Most Wahl Cordless/Cord Clippers (Gray)

I am a 72-year-old woman with thinning curly hair. I keep it short, usually 2-1/2 inch length. So I bought a Wahl clipper (the Lithium Ion model, which a Wahl rep suggested might give me the best chance at success using 2-inch or above guide combs) and these guides from Yinke.I received both items today. I immediately charged and oiled the Wahl clipper, fitted it with the 2-1/2 inch guide and tried to cut my hair (which was about 3 inches long). I could not get the 2-1/2 inch guide to work (it was too unwieldy), so I lowered my expectations and tried the 2 inch guide, since I had read in various reviews that nothing over a 2 inch guide would work.Using the 2 inch guide I was able to cut my hair evenly, by holding a clump of hair and pulling the guide through it, making sure to place the blade very close to my head as I ran the hair through it. However, this means I will have to wait until my hair grows at least a full inch before I can again cut it to 2 inches. I consider this to be a workable, inexpensive alternative to getting my hair cut every 6 weeks by a hairdresser.I bought the Yinke set because the tabs that attach to the blade are metal and therefore more durable. I hope to have the clipper and guide for many years to come!

I have the Wahl Professional Cordless Designer model and these attachments fit perfectly. They are built to last—solid product. Also, as a pro tip for the ladies; I’ve been scissor cutting/styling my own pixie cut for the past 10-years. I’ve recently been getting fatigued while reaching around to cut the back of my hair, with the #10 (1.5”) attachment, I’ve been able to replicate my pixie cut in a quarter of the time.

I like the metal clips, they should be more durable than just plastic. My hair on the top of my head is about 3.5 inches long and I usually cut it with scissors. I wanted to try clippers to see if that might be easier. So I was happy to find this set. They arrived quickly.

Great clipper guards, exact size and fit as described, only problem is the 1 ¼ size arrived broken.

Amazing attachments!! I tried buying bigger guards in the past, but they where always flimsy and cut uneven. These ones are the real deal, I have a whal clipper and these attachments are built exactly the same as the smaller ones that came with clipper.

For home hair cutting and trimming it is perfect and it will preclude the need to use scissors! Cleaning is a little more difficult since the fins are alot taller and narrow for brushes to clean in between them.
