Amazing Phone for Under $500 (Metro by T-Mobile)
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely LOVE this phone. The camera is great for a phone. Performance is lightning fast. Took about 10 minutes for me to set it up and activate the phone (Metro by T-Mobile) using the SIM card from my previous phone. The one issue I faced was that I was unable to send and receive images/MMS messages. I was able to fix it by putting in the correct Access Point Name (APN) I found online with a quick search. Everything has been working perfectly since I entered the correct APN info. This phone is marketed as a mobile gaming phone. I'm a console gamer, not a mobile gamer, so I didnt know if the mechanical shoulder buttons would be a waste and get in the way. Let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I am. Being able to map those buttons to useful actions like the torch or screen capturing has made me realize what I have been missing all along. These programmable buttons are the best features I never knew I always wanted. The screen is a little small for my liking (<6.7"), but the usability and performance makes that such a minor negative. Honestly, this is the best phone I have ever used. Some say this phone is lacking 1st party software. I'm honestly in the opposing camp. I find the competitors custom software packages are mostly bloatware and get in the way. I like a lightweight environment where I get to choose everything I deal with, so this phone is perfect for me.Day to day use, the phone is lightning fast. This phone is the best user experience I've ever had with an Android device. The fingerprint sensor was a little annoying with the default setting as "always on", but once I set it to only sense once the button is pressed, that headache disappeared. As far as a gaming test... I tested Steam Link, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Remote Access, and Stadia, and it was the best Android gaming experience I've ever had. I have yet to play any locally installed games (only connected using cloud based gaming services), but I had no lag or hiccups in my gaming tests and am more than satisfied. On top of everything else, this phone also allows custom live wallpapers (including screen capture of it in action) with absolutely no performance hinderance. I've experienced custom live wallpapers blocked due to resource requirements but this beast of a phone handles it with no issues. You can NOT get a better phone for Under $500. This unlocked phone works perfectly with MetroPCS/Metro by T-Mobile. Personally, I feel the features of this phone make it so unique, that even AAA flagship phones don't even add up in my opinion. I am now all in on the Black Shark 4 phone and recommend it for anyone, not just gamers.I have the 8GB Ram version and am having this amazing experience. I haven't found a need to justify purchasing the 12GB RAM version in my experience yet. The highest usage I witnessed was about 75% memory used while gaming and a bunch of other apps running concurrently. 8GB is absolutely sufficient for almost anyone in my opinion. Save the $100-150 and go 8-128 instead of 12-256 unless you have a real need for the upgrade.

A Great Phone Indeed!
Hear me out, phone came with 0% battery on arrival, but by turning it on with its 120w charger, BAMM back on in 20min.Ok, I spend literally a whole day with this phone and I can guarantee you, it worth the money.Bought this phone to replace my S10e, which I been having for quite awhile now (almost 3 years).First off, beautiful display, due to being AMOLED of course. If you want maximum brightness, turn off "auto" and "dark mode". Dark mode will dim your screen by 5%, it's not noticeable but I saw it when comparing it to my S10e on max brightness and switched "dark mode" on and off on both.Cameras on gaming phone were never the point of interest, but decent enough for everyday uses. Same goes with video recording.Second, I like my battery to last, so for the best health of the battery, I personally use my QC 3.0 wall charger I bought a year back. Also, I use standard battery saver mode with 60hz display. No drops in performance, like barely noticeable. 120w is nice, but if you want your battery to last, do QC 3.0 or 30w and below.Third, the performance and audio are amazing. Playing mobile games with 30% to 50% brightness along with "battery saver mode", chief kiss right there. Having "triggers" and "long press touch" made gaming more enjoyable.Note: - Snapdragon 888 feel no different from 8 Gen 1.The audio from these speakers, waaayyy better than my S10e, and far louder, oh and put it in a hollow box/object, BOOM mini speaker. Although, can be a tiny bit tinny on max volume but still a W. Oh and did I forget to mention DTX Ultra with headphones on? Yeah, that made everything so much better, and they have a list of headphones/earbuds settings to adjust just for that specific item.Note: - No Mp3 player installed, so dl whichever you like. They do have a Video player, and Photo.Overall, only con side here is that you can't turn some animations off, and Shark Chan does not work for me, maybe I'll look into it more later. Other than that, a great buy for me, and highly recommend yall to get this phone. 10/10

Serious fire power
This phone can play a lot of games at high resolution. I play genshin impact and world of tanks on this beast. Like most phones, the phone will either warm your hands or cook em. So I highly recommend you not completely overclock your game settings or push your phone to it limits. But if you do, buy one of those Black Shark fan coolers or any other brand. They really do help keep the heat in check. The charging cable that this phone came with is amazing. I stuck it into my anker power bank and it charged my older phone to a near full charge in under 40 minutes, plus it was in the quick charge slot so it just made it even better. I'd never get that kind of result with any other brand.. I would love to buy 6ft version of this, if I could. Also, this phone doesn't recognize Cricket, my data provider.

Shiny turd
So although my black shark 2 had quarks I really enjoyed it and Decided to upgrade to the black shark 4 pro because my carrier was not supporting 3G anymore. I've had this thing for 24 hours and between the unresponsive lack of customer support and the fact that this brick won't connect to Google services to do any update or download any apps. I'm I'm stuck with a $600 phone that can't put preform a $50 Walmart phone because it has no functions other than call and text.
