Guitar Accessories Gift Box for Acoustic and Electric Guitars, 5-in-1 Essential Gift

This kit has everything a beginner needs to get started with guitar. There are even some items in here that intermediate or advanced players might not already own, like capos. The tuner is nice in that it identifies each individual string by name. Extra points for including the cell battery required for the tuner. It has literally everything you need to start playing and trying advanced techniques right away. As a player for more than 15 years, even I got value from some of the items in the package, and when I had gotten what I needed from it the nice matte black box case it comes packaged up in is great for storing other things. It is a great gift for most guitarists.

I bought this mainly for the guitar strap, but the box was the same price as many straps I looked at so decided to buy this set instead. It comes in a matte black box and the quality is good. The tuner is super small, but works. We have another tuner for other instruments played in our house, and this is just as accurate but smaller. I’m very impressed with the quality of strap, the pick holder is a brilliant idea. I’ve never found a pick that I’ve gotten on with, but these are the best I’ve found. Everything in the box is fantastic and I’ll be buying people these as gifts. Brilliant product!

Though I didn't really need it, I got this Stage Rocker guitar pack (in blue) to go with my new Sigma acoustic guitar. A little overpriced even with a modest discount, the pack items come in an attractive gift box and include a tuner, small polishing cloth, strap, several picks of different thicknesses, and a capo. The strap is average quality but is attractive and stays affixed to the guitar snugly. I love the jacquard pattern on it. The tuner comes with a battery (nice touch) and there are several modes for tuning including chromatic, guitar, ukulele, etc. that comes in handy depending on what type of instrument you are tuning. The capo feels solid and doesn't make my guitar strings go sharp from too much pressure. The polish cloth is rather small to use for wiping the guitar down so I might use it only to wipe the strings after playing. The worst part of the accessory pack is the odor (a strong solvent/chemical smell). I contacted the seller about it (Walter's Music) and they said it was most likely from the dye, and to let it air out and the smell should dissipate over time (which it has though I washed the picks and put a bit of Lysol and Febreeze on the strap).Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

This little kit has everything a starting guitar player needs - except the guitar. The electronic contact tuner is especially handy, since beginners tend to have trouble with tuning. The display is a bit small, but it has nice features, like settings for different instruments, a backlight that changes color when the string is in tune and an indicator of which string you're tuning. Some more expensive tuners don't have these features. And the tension on the trigger-style capo seems just about right - not so tight it's hard for a young learner to squeeze but tight enough so the strings don't buzz or sound dead. Nice variety of picks so the learners can figure out what they like. The "polishing cloth" seems a bit too small to be very useful, but it's a nice idea. And the strap is good looking and will do the job. Learners who stick with it will eventually want to upgrade, but this will make for a good start.
