The promise of being able to reuse my Vertuo pods and reduce waste was what initially attracted me to these capsules. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment when I attempted to use them with my compatible coffee maker.Despite following the instructions meticulously, I encountered insurmountable compatibility issues. The VIVI SKY capsules simply did not fit properly into my Vertuo coffee maker, resulting in inconsistent and frustrating brewing attempts. No matter how many adjustments I made or how carefully I inserted the capsules, they failed to provide a secure seal or work effectively.The frustration was further exacerbated by the fact that the coffee brewing process was marred by leaks, uneven extraction, and a general lack of consistency. The promised convenience of being able to use my own coffee grounds was overshadowed by the mess and wasted coffee caused by the faulty design of these capsules.After several unsuccessful attempts to make these capsules work, I ultimately had no choice but to return them. It's disheartening to invest in a product with the hope of reducing waste and enjoying a personalized coffee experience, only to be met with such disappointment.Furthermore, the lack of clear compatibility information on the packaging or product description was a major oversight. It led me to believe that these capsules were suitable for my coffee maker when, in fact, they were not. This lack of transparency added to the frustration of the entire experience.In conclusion, my experience with the VIVI SKY Reusable Coffee Capsules Discs was marked by disappointment, inconvenience, and ultimately, an unsuccessful attempt to integrate them into my coffee routine. The compatibility issues and overall subpar performance were highly unsatisfactory, leading me to return the product. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution and consider alternative options before investing in these refillable pods, especially if they have a Vertuo coffee maker.

Works like a charm. Extremely happy I can use fresh ground coffee of MY choice. Well-made and easy to use. I recommend using medium to coarse grind coffee of your choice. Fill slightly below pod rim to ensure a tight fit for lid. I ordered the two pack plan on ordering more.

There are two issues: 1) it's not very convenient to use 2) it displaces some volume that would otherwise be filled with coffee.I find that Nespresso pods are already a little on the weak side, especially for the full cup size. When using this lid, it takes up space that would normally have coffee grounds inside the pod, making the coffee even weaker. This effect is much more pronounced in the smaller size pods. The single espresso made with this lid is just simply undrinkable for me, as it's far too weak.Regarding convenience, I didn't have much issue at all getting it to seal. Just tamp down the coffee a bit and make sure you do not overfill the pod. Another reviewer had the good idea to leave some foil on the top of the pod when you trim it and that worked very well for me. The main problem is cleaning it, as it's very hot after use and somewhat tricky to catch before it's ejected into the spent pod tank (especially before you've had any coffee in the morning). Then you have to brush off all the coffee grounds if you want to make a second cup. Not a deal-breaker, but it does add friction to the process.Bottom line: If you like weak coffee, this is a fine way to reuse pods and either save money or use your favorite group coffee. If you need strong coffee, look elsewhere.PS I didn't try with carafe-sized pods. Those would probably be less noticeably weaker as the lid would take up less relative volume of the pod.

Depending on which Vertuo capsule I use, it works better on some than others. Its due to the spin rate the machine detects for certain of the nespresso coffees. High spin rate make the machine vibrate a lot as this metal cap starts lifting off the pod.I'm using a colombia pod to brew my roasted chicory and this works well. Way better than the silicone caps, but not as perfect as a foil. Super much easier than foil. Oh, AND don't over fill the pod cup with your grounds because as they expand it'll push the cap off.

Enjoy this simple product that allows anyone to use their own grinds in the Nespresso. Coffee comes out great and still has that classic Nespresso foam at the top. one annoying thing is that after use, the pod usually ends up in the back bin which you might have to look through if you have other used pods in there. I mastered the way of lifting the top of the machine and grabbing the pod before it falls into the bin, but it takes some practice and if you do it right away, you might get burned. all in all a great product for those who want to save a little money using own grinds in the Nespresso but don't mind a little extra work, which could be a problem if you primarily use Nespresso for the convenience. I can foresee these getting easily thrown away in the trash if using a Nespresso machine in the office or with other people. while in a rush I make a cup of coffee and forget to retrieve the pod until later, but in that time my housemate could accidentally throw it away.

Seemed like it would be easy to use, but if you put too much coffee in it the Nespresso won’t work. If you put the right amount they suggested, the coffee is very weak. And using it more than once is a pain to clean. Wouldn’t recommend. Definitely not worth the price.
