The lights themselves are pancake thin. Very easy to install, the installation took a couple of minutes, and go together very easily. I spent way more time removing the old lights. I like the light that they produce. They approximate noontime daylight quite well. As expected, they're on the cool side of the spectrum. They have a really nice spread in terms of light dispersion. Really glad I purchased them and I wish I made the purchase earlier.

Whats not to like? At $10 apeice, these lights are a steal. Good color spectrum, and 100watt equivalent. Added 4 to my shower yesterday. So easy to install. Be sure to purchase Romex connectors when you order these and save a trip to HD or Lowes. We had 2 older can lights w/LED bulbs, and replaced them with 4 of these. What a difference. They look so much cleaner than the old style cans, and will be much easier to service "if" ever needed. Even with 10' ceilings these turned that dark cave into a bright spot in the bathroom. Only down side is now I will have to clean more often...

These are very easy to install. They are very bright. I put these in my house soffits in the front. The soffits are Hardie backer cement board. The spring that holds them in is way better than those other lights that require a housing. I used a 6 inch hole saw the lights fit perfectly. You can't just use any hole saw on hardie cement board. If you are installing these indoor into dry wall or wood then a regular hole saw is fine. My hole saw was exactly 6 inches in diameter. Not 6-1/8 or 6-1/4. Exactly 6 inches and the lights fit nicely into the hole.

I used these in my kitchen to replace a ceiling recessed enclosure of three- four foot florescent double fixtures. I used 5 fixtures spaced carefully and now have more than enough light that is brighter and looks amazing. The 170 degree spread of light is great to light up the upper cabinets and evenly cover the whole kitchen counter area. I ended up getting a dimmer switch so that my wife can reduce the light when she wants.

I searched the box and never found a template for the hole needed to install. Made my own but was a little disappointed.
