Awesome and Powerful
Fan was a gift for boyfriend who has power outages from time to time. He loves it so much he is using it all the time.

Great fan, short battery life.
Great fan! Very cool, but a charge doesn’t last too long.

Many great features, but also a few gripes.
This folding fan is a really clever device: it's a large fan yet folds small, and its range of speeds is impressive. The slower speeds are also impressive for being quiet. And the remote control makes the unit even handier, especially if you want to control the fan while in bed, say. I like it a lot. But there are a few gripes to note.First, there's the price, which jumped by $50 the day after I ordered mine, and it was already rather pricey at $169.Second, there's the swivel feature, which is really welcome, but a swivel arc of only 70 degrees is barely enough to direct the wind toward two persons at a table. I would have been happier with something more like 135 degrees, or at least 90. The swiveling itself is a somewhat slow back-and-forth and, alas, cannot be speeded up.Third, I was caught off-guard by the charging arrangement. If you read the fine print in the manual, it says to use only the included charging brick. That's what you usually expect to read in any manual. But the charging brick's cable terminates with a standard USB-C plug, so you could certainly be forgiven for thinking that any USB-C cable could be used to charge the fan's battery -- indeed, how convenient that would be! Nope: the proprietary charger has a 12-volt output, not the 5v output of all my usual chargers, none of which would activate any charging. So you have to make sure you bring the OEM charger with you if you move around with this fan, because your other USB chargers won't help you at all. (Why, one wonders, wouldn't the manufacturer make this clearer in the manual, and perhaps indicate what sorts of aftermarket chargers could be used in place of the OEM one? Lose your original brick, and your fan bricks itself.)Lastly, given the natural portability of this fan, I was surprised (especially at this price) that they didn't throw in a protective case of any kind, for travel, maybe one with a side pocket for the irreplaceable charging brick?

Powerful but with minor cosmetic issues
*** EDITED: I changed from 4 stars to 5 stars because it’s honestly a really good fan, everyone that sees it thinks it’s amazing. I’ve gotten over the slight cosmetic issues it has. I do highly recommend buying this if you have the money to. END OF EDIT ***This thing is very powerful but does not last long with high power so be aware of that. I keep it mostly at the speed 02 because that is powerful enough for me to feel wind.It is a lot bigger than you would expect or at least bigger than I was expecting it to be.Im giving this four stars purely because of the build quality. Its got nice materials but the internals were not built well. It is a beautiful fan but the display has a big scratch in it thats uncomfortably visible (I do not think this was done during shipping because the fan comes folded up so there was nothing that could have damaged the screen during shipping). Also it looks like whoever built it just half hazardly dropped the led battery indicator into place because; one, there is a bit of dirt under the display thats sitting right on one of the leds which means they didnt make sure it was clean before the display screen was put on, two its not flat (which I am assuming its supposed to be flat and not wavy and slightly askew), three I am not sure whether the motor was put in at an angle or not because it shakes almost a centimeter side to siden which is unsettling. I own a fair amount of fans since where I live is very hot and this is the only fan I have that shakes this much. One thing this fan has that is a brilliant idea is the smart speed feature and the bedtime mode. I have not tested the night time mode yet but I already know that it will help me sleep a lot better. I have a tower fan that I use for when I sleep and when the timer is up and I am very close to sleeping, it suddenly shuts off and that for some reason alerts me and then I am back fully awake. Having the fan slowly decrease speed and then turn off will help me so much at night. I love the smart speed feature as well although it uses up the battery too fast because since I live in a hot area where its very hot, the fan tends to stay up at the 12 speed.Again with the shaking of the fan, I was going to post a video of how much it shakes but unfortunately because of the high quality of my phones camera stability, it factors out the shaky fan making it look perfectly still in a video. It also feels wrong to fold it down all the way because it sounds like I am snapping a small animals neck. I have a bad feeling that that connection will not last very long. Lastly the extension, it is the same type of extension used with luggage bags and those do not last long so I am very worried about how long it will last. But then again, you are not yanking on the fan like you do with luggage bags so maybe the durability of the extention will not be a issue.

Fancy looking fan, nice features, quietly blows focused air a long distance. Power plug scares me!
Overall I do really like this fan. It is well built and almost too fancy for me, I'm not used to nice things :-)A couple things bother me:1st *Could be a safety concern!* The included charging cord is a small AC/DC box with a male USB C end on it (not micro USB like the description says).... the SCARY part is this 12 volts, not the typical 5 volts of a USB C plug, so if someone comes along and plugs this cord into their phone or any other device that charges with the typical USB C, it could severely damage that device and may even be dangerous. There are so many devices that this can plug into, and if it doesn't have overvoltage protection, it may be a fire hazard. Please be careful and put the cord away, or label the USB C end 'do not use'. Also it was mentioned by others, this fan will not charge with any other charger since it needs 12v. Don't loose the charging cord or forget it while traveling.2nd thing is the price was pretty high for a portable fan. 169 at my time of testing, now 209 with a 50 off coupon. To be fair... it is well designed, has a huge battery, very quiet, powerful air, 12 speeds (maybe too many speeds?) and a very cool oscillating feature (everything you see rotates on the bottom most part of the base).I used it for about 3 hours outside while doing some pretty hard car repairs on a hot 85F humid MN summer day. I was very grateful that is was powerful. I had it plugged in during this use, but during other testing I found their battery time chart to be almost spot on, a little over 2 hours on max speed. It is very powerful, so that is respectable.
