If you are not fond of the taste of beets, this might not be to your liking. I had hoped the pomegranate would enhance the flavor, but unfortunately, it still predominantly tastes of beets. Perhaps next time, I will try consuming it as a quick shot. My husband, who enjoys beets, drank it no with problem. Additionally, I read comments regarding its energizing properties. For those who may not have reviewed the ingredients, it does contain green tea, similar to matcha and other such beverages.

Look around to find a better price for Total Beets. I did and Amazon has, by a good margin the lowest prices. Didn’t have to use a drop of expensive gas ether to fetch it. I don’t get enough solid sleep in my busy life. Waking up early daily was rather getting more difficult as I turned 55+. Then this Beets powder with a little water before getting out of bed made a big difference. Tried many things. Total Beets worked best for me.

first off it tastes terrible which is whatever, you can always mix it with something to help that. BUT more of a problem I started having lower bad back pain RIGHT at my kidneys within four to five days of starting use. So I obviously stopped using it immediately as it was the only new supplement I had added I assumed that was the cause. Within a few days of stopping, my kidneys stopped hurting. I then read reviews online and found several other people reported the same issue. I am a healthy adult male in my 40s who eats well, works out, and I drink plenty of water daily ( min of eight cups max of 12). That all said can I PROVE it was the cause...? NO. But anyone with critical thinking ability, common sense, and rational thought process can deduce by cause and effect. it was the ONLY thing that had changed in my life and stopped once removed. That said I gave it two stars ONLY because my brother uses it and has zero problems. Not from my same container or batch etc, so maybe that is the cause [a bad batch] but I'm not willing to waste the money or pain to find out.

I am very happy with this product and I love the flavor. I can now add my heart health with a powder instead of a pill. What I realized, though was that there is sodium and caffeine in this product, which I cannot take for my heart health. Kind of a contradiction in terms.

Seems to be an ok preworkout but doesn’t taste good at all. Tastes exactly like beets and not blueberry pomegranate.
