Works perfectly but
the cord is only 3 feet long. I didn't realize it until I received it. I checked out the voltage with a meter and it was 6.45V which 6V adapter are usually. This is with a positive center pin. Great value but too short of a cord for me so I returned it.

I stop working in just 5-6 weeks.Had a bad experience with Amazon customer service too.

Great cheap alternative to more expensive adapters
Bought this to power a small Halloween animatronic. This adapter costs less than a third of the adapter offered by the company selling those animatronics. I had it running for ten minutes and didn't see any notable issues, time will tell. Cord length could be an issue, just assume you will have to couple it with an extension no matter your application is.
