This is a great little plug. Super easy to install and works great. It's far superior to the plugs I've had in the past for several reasons.First, with this plug, you do not need to download yet another app! That's great! With my last box of plugs I had to download a whole other app to work in conjunction with Alexa. Second, this plug is slightly smaller than the last plug I had so it's easier to fit things in the other socket below it. Third, set up was crazy easy. Unlike the last one (where the plug and echo had to be on the same internet) all I had to do was plug this one in then ask my echo to find the device. I didn't expect much because I haven't had good luck with this in the past but it found the plug immediately. All I had to do was name it in the Alexa app and done.Lastly, and this is a big one for me, it does not count as a device on your modem! The last almost identical plug in looks that we used had to be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the echo and counted as a device on your modem. This one hooks directly to your Alexa easy peasy. Which means, at least with this plug, they have solved the Smart Home problem. In the past we had four plugs but had to cut it back to one because each plug counted as a device on our modem. Our modem only allows eight devices to be connected. With these plugs it appears that you could hook up as many as you like and it doesn't count against your device list on the modem because it's hooked directly to your echo.I'm an instant fan of this plug in movie picking up several more in the near future. Let's hope it has better longevity than the last ones, as well.(Another improvement over the last plug? The power button is on the side. Instead of on the front face which is easily blocked by a bulky plug.)

Long story made short, I have several of these. They were all working just as they were supposed to and one day they all quit. This company worked with me for several days to try and get them fixed. They offered to replace the plugs but I told them it had to be something else. Finally Amazon tech support for Alexa found my problem. My Alexa was the problem. It was very old so I replaced it with a new one and ALL of my smart plugs are now working and working very well. I will buy from Exioty again and will gladly recommend them for purchase to everyone. These are easy to set up & connect with Alexa & control thru the Alexa app without having to download another app, which I love. Unfortunately, one of the 4-pack I bought would never work or connect with Alexa.

This was my 3rd different set of Smart Plugs. I wasn’t very SMART because I wasn’t aware that not every smart plug will work with 5G. This one works!!! I am going to have to get a WiFi Extender because it doesn’t pick up in rooms that are further away from my equipment.

So I previously had another brand of smart plugs that worked on 2.4 ghz that I used to control the lights in my home and they worked flawlessly. Recently my home internet provider "upgraded" my home internet with a new smart router. It's not so smart and I wish they never installed it. It works for most things fine, it's fast etc. BUT it combines both 5ghz and 2.4ghz into one network that I cannot split apart. My old router had separate connections for 2.4ghz and 5ghz and some things in my home, specifically the previous smart plugs I had, work only on 2.4ghz and must be connected directly to that network only. The new router can not tell network frequency specific decices apart and tries to connect everything to 5ghz. Rendering my original smart plugs useless. I spent hours trying to talk to tech support and they basically said it was impossible to go back to the old way unless I used my own router. Some people with these new smart routers have the option of separating them again or creating a guest network with 2.4ghz to provide a place to use the original smart plugs. Mine does neither. So when I saw these new smart plugs claiming to work on both networks I thought my problems were gone. I connected each plug easily and thought this is awesome! That didn't last long. Apparently these things connect by Bluetooth to Amazon echo devices in the room instead of using wifi😑 I have echo devices in every room in my home, so no problem right? Wrong. Although the devices initially connected they all disconnected randomly within minutes. I kept reconnecting them only for the same thing to keep happening. Even worse, the way you connect them is by telling alexa to discover new devices. It finds them fine. But it connects them randomly to my echo devices that are not even in the same room and you cannot choose. One living room plug will connect to the bedroom echo, another to the kitchen echo, another to the bathroom echo etc even though there is an living room echo less than 10 feet away and the other is much further. Hence, they become disconnected and unresponsive constantly and consistently. I'm so mad I may ask for a complete refund on all 6 plugs that I purchased. They are totally unreliable sadly and only reinforced how much I dislike my internet provider for messing with what worked flawlessy and costing me money a, frustration and hearteche. As far as these plugs go. Don't waste your time, patience or money on them. They are not ready for prime time. It's a good idea on paper but has way too many bugs right now to be of any use to anyone.

These work perfectly, Alexa discovers the without the need of another App. I have replace the Wemo and other plugs that need an additional app. Super simple to setup and program for specific tasks such as Christmas lights.

I bought two sets of these. 5 connected easily and worked for a couple weeks. I finally went to set up the other 3 and they would not connect. I thought were defective so I did a return/exchange. The set would not connect either. The 5 that are connected show unresponsive, but still turn on and off with the voice command.

These were soooo simple to setup! It took only minutes to connect, rename, and use these plugs! So much easier than the ones that force you to download an app and have difficulty finding the connection. No app needed with these and connected within less than 1 minute per plug...just a connected Alexa is all you need! I had all 4 plugs setup and working in just a few minutes.
