I bought this pump in Dec of 2020 and used it everyday for 3 1/2 years with absolutely no problems works every time. Well worth the price.

I pumped 1000 gallons of water from my pool with this unit. You plug it in and drop it to the bottom. The flow rate was far less than the 2,000 gal/hr advertised, but that was due to me using a 50-foot garden hose extension, which greatly restricts the flow. To get close to the advertised rate, you will need a wider and shorter hose. I know this bc if you completely remove the hose, the unit will shoot a 2-3 inch column of water eight to ten feet straight up. The float is tricky but protects the unit from running dry (automatic turn-off). Another issue is the unit draws water from the bottom but is designed with a three-inch platform on the bottom. That means the unit can not pump up the last four inches or so of water from the pool or whatever you are pumping from. The professional-grade pool pumps will go down to 1-2 inches. That additional two inches can be a lot of water in some circumstances. For example, if you are pumping water from an 800 sf flooded basement, two inches can be about 1,000 gallons of water. On the other hand, in other cases, the last few inches are not essential. Verdict: the unit seems to be a good value. However, time will tell, as there were some reports of the pump not working after a few months. In that case, the rating goes down to one or two, as value is the main reason to buy this. I will report back if mine stops working.

First of all make sure the Hose adapters (1 Angle adapter and 1 for Garden Hose adapter) are included as well as the instruction booklet. If you dont find these parts return the unit. No Using the garden hose the Suction is adequate, it took me 3 1/2 hours to drain water from my inground average size spa. Based on their estimate roughly 2000 gallons per hour, I dont think my spa holds over 7000 gallons. Also it does not drain all the way to bottom, it stops at roughly 4 1/2" water from bottom, which is what they are stating. This is because the way bottom of pump is designed with legs. Pump is super quiet. No issue with floater switch, I just mounted with sliding clip. Plug wire is long enough more than 10 feet. Overall useful hardware to have if you have pool or spa or pond.

A Sump pump is suppose to be able to sit in water a start to pump when the level rises. this pump can not do that. As the metal that is used is Iron Metal. it will rust in 1 or 2 days of sitting in water. when you first get it it works great and pumps fast. but you have to take it out of the water right away and it will dry off from the heat of the pump. But i would never depend on it for a sump pump in my Basement. when price is to good to be true. it usually is.

Great little pump. It does not remove as much water as I'd like and you need a few inches for it to start suction, but if you have a pool to drain or your basement has standing water in it, this little guy will work. You do have all the connection to mount a garden hose to it, but flow rates will be reduced. If you're looking to move a lot of water very quickly, you will want to purchase the largest diameter hose you can get that fits the pump.

I bought this because it was advertised as battery powered and I didn't want to mess with 110 power. The one that came is definitely not battery powered🤔. I seet up anyway in a low spot to pump out standing water next to my house since we are experiencing torrential rains right now. I had to run out and buy a 1" hose since 3/4" fittings are not included. I made a quick and dirty sump with a five gallon bucket in a hole and ran the power cord into my house, making sure plug was not near water. Last night was a huge rainstorm and it kept the low spot pumped out just fine.

This is good item but the draining was not too fast for my pool to drain

Old sump pump started to have an issue with its switch. Replaced with this unit, hookup to old piping was simple. The main sump drain line was 1-1/2”, which is the main connect for the pump. Cleared a full tank in a couple seconds and turned off as expected. Only concern in a small space like this is modify the switch to turn on the moment water displaces the float. I did this by using a couple zip ties without issue.

Love this pump! Used to clean the spa and was emptied in less than an hour.

I wanted a pump to make water changes in my hot tub easier and this did the trick. Speed was impressive, less than 10 min for the whole hot tub. I don't recall anything about the sound, so it must be quiet. When the ice melts we'll se how it does on the pool cover, I expect it to work perfectly. Recommend it to anyone that needs a pump every now and then.

Works like a charm with 1.5” vinyl pipe, it pumps water super fast! I was able to lower my 45,000 Liter pool level by 2 inches in less than 30min
