Sturdy, colourful toy , a lot smaller than I was expecting

The media could not be loaded.  I’m a huge fan of wooden toys and this one is lovely! My tot has tested it out (15 months) and had loads of fun hammering the balls in and waiting for them to pop out! I’m sure as he grows the little house will be used in sensory play trays and imaginative play to do it’s a long lasting toy. It’s sturdy and feels strong. Would make a lovely gift!

I would defiantly suggest supervision if there are two kids playing to make sure they don’t hit each there with the hammer as it might be painful.The balls are pretty bigs size so there is no choking hazard and there are no shape edges and all the surfaces are smooth so you don’t have t worry about splinters. A nice colourful choice of very good quality - highly recommend.

Quality is really good. It's so well made and looks great. Would recommend.

This is a nice quality wooden toy, which has a sturdy wooden house, a wooden mallet and 4 plastic balls. The wooden house is painted in non toxic paint, which is very durable and flake proof.The house features several activities, for hand eye coordination and early learning, with four balls which can be hammered into the round holes in the roof, a clock with movable hands to teach time, a small abacus for counting and flower decor, which can also be incorporated into a counting game.This is quite a small toy, which at time of review is a little expensive at almost £20, and I wouldn't really want to pay much more than around £12 at most.

My son absolutely loves this. Comes well presented in a cardboard box showing you exactly what you're getting. Inside you get the house shape toy 4 balls and a hammer. Everything is made of wood, a solid look and build. Completely smooth to touch, no rough edges or areas anywhere. It looks and feels of excellent quality. A good size for small hands. Brightly painted with a nice finish. The 4 balls sit in their slot on the roof part and little ones use the hammer to hit them through the holes into the bottom. There's a rubber ring sat inside which holds the balls in place, it flexs when it's hit to allow the ball to go through. After alot of hits and alot of misses there's no dents or damage to the house or the balls, there is a few indentations on the hammer, but nothing major. A good way to help develop hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, exercise muscles, but also just to have fun and enjoy play. Theres a couple other activities to do around the sides also. This is a toy he has spent alot of time playing with, he's able to hit ghe balls, get them out the bottom and put them back to go again by himself. He seems to love this, going back to it through out the day. Strong and durable. Made to withstand alot of hands on play. Would even make a lovely gift. I'd happily recommend without hesitation.
