I thought I would never get the chance to learn to play a violin, but my local library decided to buy one and circulate it. Needless to say, it isn't being loaned out anymore, a bit too complicated to go from patron to patron. However, it got me thinking and I checked Amazon, and I could afford it! I got the Pyle USA kit as it includes two months of free online classes (they are live and I decided they weren't for me), bow, rosin for the bow, the violin, extra strings, quick start instructions to get set up, velvet lined case and a digital tuner! I haven't played it yet, taking it slow and learning chords and strings before using it so I don't get disappointed in myself, but very excited!

I submitted my info a couple weeks ago to access the free online lessons from Pyle, and no response whatsoever. Very disappointed in Pyle customer service. 😠

Not easy to use, but works great

We bought 3 violins from this company. Two were awesome but this one fell apart as soon as the teacher tuned it. I contacted the company because of the warranty and I've yet to hear from them almost two weeks later. So I'm very disappointed.

Very light weight, and I was able to get set up and playing clean tones within an hour. I did break one of the strings, but they do give a replacement. The tuning pegs must be pressed in very tightly or they will slip, Can be difficult for a beginner.

I played the violin for 8yrs and loved it. Now I'm teaching my 4 and 6yr old how to play. Its a wonderful experience and the joy of on my kids faces when they play are priceless.

BeAuTiFuL. Fantastic sound and workmanship on a student model. Would buy again.
