They lack the mercury glass character I paid a premium to get and the hook connector is not the same color as shown. They look sad and worn out right out of the box due to heavy scratches and smudges that were inflicted on these poor ornaments in a wild attempt to add the character that is pictured. I rarely write reviews and usually roll with it, but this one is so off the mark that Amazon should remove it and the seller should offer refunds.

The photo looks so good! I was so excited about them that I dismissed the bad reviews. Don't make the same mistake.

Only 2 pieces in the box look "antique' or like a mercury glass. The rest of the pieces only looked dirty. Returned to Amazon.

The photography shown in the listing is misleading. The product that arrived is a far cry from what is shown on Amazon. Couldn't return them fast enough.

I expected gold tones from the first picture in this listing, but I got white and a kind of silver-gray. However, they are quality made with very pretty vintage looking tops to them, and an aged patina of missing color patches in the ornaments that really do make them look like they've been in the family 60 years or so. Once they were on the tree, I liked them a lot better than when I saw them in the box and was disappointed that the color wasn't what I expected. I'm glad I gave them a chance.
