Can i use this to control the ventisol 18 inch shutter exhaust fan?

The answer is yes as long as your motor spec sticker shows it runs at a max of no more than 4 amps and is powered by 120 volts. I placed my control on a very similar 18" attic shuttered exhaust fan and it works just fine. I set min at 95 degrees.

Can it use for any attic fan other than QuietCool?

Box states "Only for use with QuietCool power ventilators." The unit I received is set up to turn on when temperature drops below set point, making it a heating thermostat.

The description says 24V. but the image of the product label shows 120V 60Hz....... which is correct?

It works!

Very simple device. Build appears to be adequate for the price. Not yet installed but tested with volt meter, not rocket science.Happy to report this is one shipment the USPS didn't lose or send to exotic places probably because it was shipped using UPS.

Works great

Have it set in my basement, it kicks the fan on at 76 degrees and turns off at 74. Have multiple computers running in basement that put out quite a bit of heat is the reason using it in the winter. Pushes the heat to the first floor so it helps cool the basement while adding heat to the living space....

great and easy replacement

my old thermosat has been working for the last 20 in my family house. Just replaced with this. Kinda hard to replace but gets the job done. hopefully this will work for the next 40 years. Will update if it ever fails. wish it came with harder screws, so i dont have to worry about stripping the screws You need to know a little of electrical work

a great replacement to your attic fan.

This attic fan thermostat is an exact replacement for my attic fan that I bought at Home Depot over 12 years ago. The fan is still running after 12 years, it just needed a new thermostat. It is very easy to replace by any home owner. That is a very good product to last all this time. It was great to find it on Amazon after 12 years. I am sure it has been upgraded internally over the years.
