This pill splitter did it’s job well. I was amazed at how easily it cut the pills in half. It was super easy and did not require much effort. I had previously been trying to split the pills with a butter knife. I’m glad that I found this thing and for cheaper than I could’ve gotten it at the store.

OMG, this is amazing! I have a 2.5 mg prescription that I take a half dose of. I've been cutting them with various sharp knives with limited success. Little pieces frequently fall off or the pill is crushed every when I cut it. I ordered this with moderate expectations based on some of the reviews that said it broke small pills into pieces. I placed the first pill snuggly in the corral and pressed the blade down with slow even pressure. It crumbled. I placed the second pill in the corral and pressed down quickly with full pressure and it was a perfect cut. I continued using this method and every pill was perfectly divided.

While not perfect, I've been mostly satisfied with this cutter's cutting my tiny 10mg pills in half. The blade does seem slightly left of center. The cuts have been clean roughly 80% of the time, with only a little bit of crumbling. Definitely better than doing it with a knife.

I got this pill cutter because most iron tablets are 65mg and the generally recommended dosage is less than half of that. I need iron supplements, but it feels bad to pay more for correct mg iron supplements.Cutting tablets with plain hands works fine, but it is not consistent. This cutter really cuts the pill in half with a neat cutting.I do have problem in opening the cutter, though. I hope it becomes easier over time. I would recommend this cutter for the low price and good quality.

My mom said this was by far THE worst pill cutter she'd ever used and she lost track of where it went. It later popped up in one of my parents dining room chair cushions and I handed it off to my dad. He told me that this is by far THE single best pill cutter he's ever used and actually went on and on about how well its designed. Both of my parents are in their early 80's and have most of if not all of their hand dexterity. So my review is - it depends on personal preference.

I use this basically everyday. It’s sturdy and clearly labeled and easier to clean. I bought it for the triangle funnel because I needed to cut smaller sized pills. What I like most is that if you shake it will dispense one half of the pill through an opening but keep the other half in the case, so you don’t have to worry about both halves falling out. It really makes a big difference when trying to organize smaller pills.

For ~$4 you can’t beat the price of this. I have very small (considered almost tiny) pills that are an odd shape (rounded on top, squared at the bottom) and this little pill cutter cuts it pretty evenly in half most times. I like that it has little grippers on the side walls, where the pill fits into place for cutting, this helps the pill not slip around while lowering the blade. It leaves a little residue but the blade is decently sharp so it works pretty well. I read reviews for many different pill cutters and settled on this because of price and reviews. Glad I did. I can tell it’s pretty cheaply made and it probably won’t stand the rest of time, but as I mentioned it works for now and for such a low price I’m happy with my purchase.

I purchased this pill cutter in order to give my cat the proper dosage of his medicine. I was able to evenly cut the pills into half and then fourths. It worked great and you can’t beat the price!

Extremely easy to use with minimal strength requited! Once you line up you tablet, it pretty well snaps nearly in half with hardly any force.This is a great product for seniors!
