Luckily seller takes returns. Didn't fit right. And not as all what pictured. Put actual picture on page. Very disappointing and way over priced.I gave 5 stars because they did accept return and credited my account.I did not find this chin rest comfortable

一本足なので安定感に難がありそうかなと思ったのですが、いい感じで支えてくれています。角度を調整できるので、私のあごの形にうまく合わせることができて、大変良いです。バイオリンに取り付けるところがすこし面積が少ないため、楽器を傷めないか不安があります。ここをもう少し広くして面圧を分散するようにすればいいと思います。次回以降は、楽器へのフィット感を増すように、金具部分をもうすこし大きくしてほしいです。コルクではなくシリコン系の緩衝材を使っているのはいいと思います。コルクは劣化してニスと一体化してしまうのですが、この緩衝材はどうでしょうか... 時々外してみたいと思います。

I have a long neck and finding a suitable chin rest has been a challenge. This chin rest fills the bill. I am also impressed at the adjustability if the chin rest. A number of reviews that I had read talked about the chin rest coming loose or not holding settings. I experienced no such problems.

32ｍｍの高さを選びましたが、私の場合、28ｍｍでも良かったかもしれません。わずかな差ですが肩当を低くして楽器を低く構えることが出来るので、右腕、肩がとても楽になります。取付が一点で支持するため楽器との接触面積が減り、音も良くなった気がします。　ただし、ネジで締めすぎないように気を使います。

This listing falsely claims that these are SAS chinrests with metal fittings. In fact these are now being sent out with the new carbon fittings which completely ruin the product. They are sharp and flexible, probably not going to last long.SAS chinrests are incredibly nice and I have used them for years and know several other violinists and violists who love them, but they are simply not worth buying with this new material.
