I have been using the pen for a while and have always wondered why it hurt more using this item and it felt that I had to use more pressure to have the needles penetrate. After inspecting the needles provided I realized these are not needles but skinny long razors. This gives you small lacerations on your skin rather than tiny holes. There are YouTube videos on this matter and how it gives a negative impact in your routine. I would recommend for the price but the stamper needs to be changed to actual individual needles.

I used to own the Dr. Pen A6S. This is identical and just as good!

This is an excellent microneedling pen. With 8 speeds, this device has more settings than many other similar pens, but I personally don't notice much of a difference between this pen with 8 speeds and other pens I have that are 5 speed. They are all plenty powerful and seem to function very similarly. I especially like that this set comes with 25 sterile needle cartridges. A lot of name brand pens "Doctor" pens, only come with two or three cartridges. 25 cartridges is quite a lot and will last you months of treatments.This device has an LED treatment with red/blue/white light so you can supposedly treat your skin with light therapy while you microneedle. I am very skeptical of the "built in" light therapy in microneedling devices. Yes, there are some small blue/red LEDs on there, but it's not very bright or powerful at all. WIth microneedling, you only move over each area for a couple seconds, which isn't nearly enough time to get any kind of a therapeutic dosage of red or blue light. So in my opinion, the LEDs in these pens are useless. It's still a great pen, and the LED kind of works as a flashlight for showing wrinkles/lines better, but it isn't real light therapy.How to use:I recommend you watch a bunch of videos online, and then start very slowly. The 12-needle cartridges hurt less than the 36-needle cartridges, and are more commonly recommended for acne scarring and hair growth, but both are good. Definitely start with a very low depth of 0.5mm or less until you learn what you are doing and how your skin reacts. It's very simple, but getting a couple treatments under your belt will help a lot. Most manuals call for using a checkerboard pattern. Vertical, horizontal, then diagonal. You stop when redness is apparent, that is the "desired" endpoint for the treatment. That's how I use microneedling, and its worked amazingly well for my acne scars and for hair growth, in just a handful of treatments. The results for my hair and acne scars using 1.5mm started to show up within just a few weeks. I started with 0.5mm and worked my way up to 1.5mm.Thoughts:It's a great microneedling pen, and it comes with a whopping 25 replacement needle cartridges. That's enough for months and months of treatment if you space them out. Microneedling is one of the most effective tools out there for hair growth and skin rejuvenation. Just remember to start slow and increase gradually.

Update: the company reached out to me, answered my questions and worked on a solution that made me feel vindicated. So their customer service is A+ and I’m looking into other products they sell, since I’ve already purchased a replacement for this particular product. Still would love to work with them again, it’s the customer satisfaction for me.So I finally worked up the nerve after watching and reading all I could to try microneedling at home. Unfortunately this pen is not accurate. I put the dial at 0.5 the needles barely moved and would not touch the skin at all. I then twisted this dial in 0.5 increments all the way up to 2.0 and that’s when I could finally feel and see the needles. The fact that I don’t have the accurate measurement of needle setting is why I’m sending this back. It’s not safe to not know how deep you’re going and was nerve wracking to try each measurement not knowing what to expect. I need something I know will be accurate to receive best outcome of treatment. This could be a fluke but I’m not willing to try again with this brand. Thanks to this product I’m convinced the salon is the only way.

Se abbinato a sessioni mensili con peeling chimici è assolutamente un ottimo alleato nel mantenimento di una pelle luminosa e tonica.
