My wife has 2012 Kia Optima that they lock was broken during break in. This part was very easy and simple to install. I was able to remove the old one and install this one in about 10-15 minutes.

Kia Optima 2016 LXBought this as a replacement for the driver side lock which was broken into. I will probably return this. This replacement lock installs fine, but the housing of the latches is smaller than the original manufacturer lock. The size difference makes it so the lock cover (the one that sits flush next to the handle) has nothing to click onto and doesn't stay in place. Though admittedly, I might have done something wrong so I'll try again in the morning.
