Does exactly what it's supposed to. full autofocus compatibility. end caps are a little loose, but that's not an issue. No image quality loss because therre's no glasss, they're just spacers.

Initial impression is good. Tested and they work fine. There is a small amount of rotational movement if you try and twist the lens when one or both extension tubes are attached, but not enough to cause connection problems. The tubes are metal and plastic construction. I wouldn't be too comfortable hanging a heavy lens off them, but most lenses should be OK. The weather seal was a nice surprise. But I don't think there is a seal at the lens release button.

Using them with a Canon R100 + 26-105 Canon RF zoom lens. They really look very well made, with a "red ring" on each - most impressive. The 12 pins make a "noisy' entry when being attached, compared a Canon lens. Repeatedly connected them to each other to try to improve things. However, everything works as intended - focussing and metering. The autofocus works best when the lens is fully zoomed out to 105mm - less so and it struggles. With both tubes in place image size doubles; obviously less so singly. I think a brightly lit subject may be the order of the day. No serious photos to review, yet.

Combined it with my RF100-400 and my 2x converter to get some pretty good closeup shots (red common darter photo). Also tried it with 200-800 and 2x and it was pretty good (green southern hawker), but needed more extension to focus close enough. A set of 3 tubes with a 24mm or so tube would have been better.

Makro imaging is very good. Much cheaper than a fancy lens which you'll probably regret buying anyway.

I'm using it in my Canon R6 with 28-70 and 70-200. It works well. It loose sharpness in the corners but the pictures are very decent. And you can use it only for macro photography. And I'm very happy with this because I never had a macro lens before so this open to me a new world of images.

These don’t work as advertised. There is no autofocus pass through on an eos R8. Don't waste your time on this.

It works but most of the pictures will come out blurry. You get what you pay and i wanted to test close up photography and for the price it is worth it. Just be aware of the out-of-focus issue.

Con la Canon eos R 50 funziona e non da problemi (tipo cotto batterie che ho letto che con alcuni modelli si potrebbe presentare) non ci sono rumori strani mentre inserisco il tubo, magari fa un po’ di resistenza quando lo disinserisco dal corpo macchina ma è ammissibile per il prezzo in confronto all originale che costa 4 volte tanto. Nient altro da dire.

Die zwischenringe passen gut auf meine Canon R7 und R5M2, was die Hauptsache ist. Die elektronischen Funktionen funktionieren. Rundum wertige und stabile Ringe.

I was looking for an accessory to my EOS R system to get some better macro shots. The extension tubes worked perfectly. The macro kit is well built and easy to use. I was so happy to see the Auto Focus worked great with the rings. It makes focusing so much easier. One of the features on the EOS R is the focus guide when you have AF turned off on the lens. It's a great feature to use for macro photography along with the focus peaking. Because the rings have the contacts built-in, the focus system on the EOS R works without fail. I tried the rings with my 24-70 MK ii and my 100 mm macro lens that are both EF with the EF to RF adapter and it was like using a native lens. I also used an RF 50mm and it was great too. If you are looking to make any lens a macro ability lens, then these tubes are perfect. They make the minimum focus distance less and add some mm to your focal range. So adding an 11mm ring to my 100mm macro makes it 111mm and also allows me to focus closer. I would highly suggest giving these rings a chance for getting some beautiful macro photography. They are affordable and built very well. I love to buy accessories to try with my camera to have some fun with and these were a ton of fun to use. It's so encouraging to see more companies build products to use with the new RF lens mount. I can't wait to see new things come out for the RF system soon.
