Gorgeous addition to my vintage costume.
This blouse runs a little small. (I usually wear M-L 38" bust,) but ordered the XL and it fits comfortably loose. I own 4 of these now!! They are so comfortable and wash on delicate very well! They do need to be touched up with an iron, but well worth the time! I get so many compliments. The lacey look is beautiful. The sleeves are nice and long and not too tight at the cuff so easy to move in! The buttons are plastic pearls, set in a plastic gold base, so it gives the look an extra elegance. I sew the buttons on with dental floss as they tend to fall off. But for the price- CAN'T BEAT IT!

beautiful
Very comfortable to wear and beautiful. I wear a medium and that's what I ordered. It fits perfectly. It's not see-thru. The lace is cotton and lovely. I washed it before I wore it and parts of it had to be ironed but it was not hard to do. Would love to see it in a hunter green.

great buy for price and super cute!!
im 5’7 but i have a very slight frame, so while the size small length was great for me, it was a little baggy. the front is opaque so i was able to wear nothing but a bra underneath and still be covered up. the detail on the lace was amazing, i would say that i thought the shoulders would be puffed but it was only puffed down the arm, i was a little disappointed because of that but otherwise i really love this! also, i couldnt really tell in the product photos but it does have a victorian lace ruffle in the front, it’s noticeable but not a prominent feature. my only concerns is that the lace is very fragile, it caught on some velcro for a second and was nearly undone in a portion. the buttons kept slipping out of the holes as well, but these are only minor complaints and overall the quality is great and just like the photos. in my photos the shirt is tucked into the skirt, when not tucked in it hangs flat and is pleated in the bottom half. i got so many compliments in/outside of school and i definitely recommend, hope this review helped!! ~keira

Gorgeous Victorian Blouse
The quality of the lace is lovely. Even though it isn't pure cotton, it feels like it. It has a good weight and feel. The color is a beautiful beige with just a hint of apricot. The buttons are very cheap-looking and of poor quality so I will simply change them out. I need to tighen up the part of the sleeves that are on the forearms because they are too loose. Overall, a beautiful blouse representative of the Victorian time period.

No Mutton Sleeves; no narrow cuffs
I was looking for a Victorian/edwardian style blouse with leg o mutton sleeves and fitted cuffs. This is not that blouse. It’s pretty enough, but just not what I wanted. Also, I’m bust 39C and this blouse (large) gapes open like so many blouses. An XL would have been too big.

Beautiful product!
Came exactly as described and fit was true to size. If you are a little chubby around the middle (like me) you may have to remove some of the pleats (this was easy to do).

It looks great!
Very comfortable very unique and lady like top. I loved it but it needed to be a bit longer to flatter me. I found it a bit on the short side so It would look better with a high waisted bottom.

Very nice Victorian style blouse
I ordered this blouse to wear in a production of A Christmas Carol in which I am singing this December. I knew from the reviews that it ran small, so I ordered a size larger than my usual size and it fit perfectly. It's a bit more embellished than the clothing I wear in "real life," but I could wear it to a Christmas party and no one would think it was a costume. I thought the sleeves looked "poofier" in the pictures on the website and the blouse had more of a Victorian "leg o' mutton" look. I may put shoulder pads in when I wear it on stage to make it look more like the pictures and to puff out the sleeves more. (The only reason for four stars instead of five is the difference between the picture, which led me to expect puffier sleeves and the blouse I received.) It's a lovely blouse in a beautiful green color.

Absolutely lovely!
I am 5’4' and weigh 140; I ordered a Medium. I am not very big on the bust and have small shoulders, so the blouse is a very comfy fit. The bottom of the blouse is roomy, so I could put a stitch in the bottom of each pleat which would bring it in a bit. I plan to wear it to a « Titanic Dinner » as in the last photo. I love the heavy lace and the pearl buttons. The cotton is a nice texture too. Great price! Good quality!

I'm plus size, 3x is good
TL;DR: I'm plus size (48-42-46) a 3x it fits nicely in the bust and waist. Only complaint is the sleeves, which are full length and sorta baggy but not a no-go because I've got fat arms. If you have fat arms, this will work for you. This shirt is gorgeous and is a great addition to my steampunk wear. My only complaint, and the reason it has 4 stars, is because in the picture it appears to be a 3/4 sort of puff sleeve--they are not. The sleeves are full length and actually a little baggy in the upper arm but they don't poof nicely when I push them up. Being plus size (48-42-46 b-w-h and about 18-20" biceps) I have 0 problem with this as the upper arm/bicep often where I have trouble. However, I thought the wrists were that nice victorian-style lace cuff that hugs the wrist (heaven forbid they should show! How scandalous!) when I bought this--again, they are not. The lace cuffs are far too wide for my wrists which works great for jackets--not so much with a vest or on its own. This is nothing a couple of well placed folds and stitches can't fix, and if it is...that's why I have seamstress friends.

Happy with this purchase!
A bit pricey, but looks very feminine and pretty, and matches the Era costume it was bought for perfectly. Lots of compliments too.
