Decades' long experience has convinced me of the multiple health benefits of cod liver oil. However, I can no longer take the liquid version and sought another form. I tried this brand before; now it is the only one I ever plan to buy. It is truly burpless with no aftertaste and only a slight odor. After trying 2 other brands that had good reviews, and were little less expensive, as well as, had an exceptionally strong odor, I couldn't re-order Dr. Martin's fast enough! The capsules are a standard size and easy to swallow. This is definitely a high quality product.

After a year of being vegan I found myself with terrible cystic acne. I knew I needed to find a solution to my skin because it was making me insecure, the cysts were painful and I didn’t feel pretty anymore. I quit veganism, and started learning about cures for acne. I learned that vitamin A in the form of Retinol is only found in animal sources and is commonly used to treat acne. I researched and found that Accutane(Isotretinoin) was dangerous but figured if I eat a high retinol nutrient diet my acne would clear. I started eating an egg a day and taking 2 cod liver oil capsules then as time went on I added in more vitamin a retinol through wild salmon, more eggs, and more cod liver oil. I also started applying Retin-A 3 times a week at night. As soon as you know it, 3 months later, my acne was much less inflamed and my skin now 6months later is cyst free! I believe that the cod liver is the miracle for cystic acne. It has the omegas, vitamin a, and d, all in their true animal unprocessed forms which allow for your skin to heal and the results I got taking these were just amazing These have no soybean oil, nasty fillers it is simply cod liver oil. Definitely recomend. UPDATE//Jan 2020 MY acne came back eventually, I started taking Tri-Spirintec birth control and that helped tame my skin but next week I will be starting Accutane since I want to be 100 percent clear. Cod liver oil did help but only to an extent and temporarily since my acne is so stubborn I must go on Accutane for my mental health and to prevent scarring. Good luck to everyone ! UPDATE// Aug 9 2020 I got off the hormonal birth control ! It made me an emotional wreck and gain weight, my acne also flared up due to the hormones. So I talked to my Derm and went on 4 month course of Accutane 60mg everyday. After the 4 months my skin is fully clear and I haven’t gotten a breakout at all, I’ve been off the drug for 2 months. Accutane does wonders and i highly recommend. Accutane is similar to retinol although it is retinoic acid, my skin is the best it’s ever been. Now that I’m 2 months off the drug I still want to take the cod liver oil for my general health. I am hoping to be reordering soon and I still recommend this product for overall skin and general health. Retinol is anti-aging! Vitamin A is seriously a miracle

As someone suffering from blackheads and enlarged pores, I first came across Cod Liver Oil as a potential "cure" for the over production of sebum and the clogging of my pores. (Shout out to Dr. Eric Berg on YouTube!) I've now been taking Cod Liver Oil for about a year now and while I still have issues with blackheads and enlarged pores lol, my issues have gotten a bit better. Though it's hard to say how much this Cod Liver Oil has been responsible for that, since I've done other things for my blackheads and pores, like facials, retinal, and other actives. I'm sure this Cod Liver Oil has provided some sort of relief, but who really knows?? lolol Anyways, this one is easy to swallow, is pretty cheap compared to what you'll find at your local GNC, and if you accidentally bite it, it tastes like fresh sushi! Thus... I'd give this a solid A (4-stars)!!

This product is easy to take & really doesn’t have an issue with being fishy smelling. Just started taking it and should do well on it, as it is recommended that a person should consume more of this for good health.

I'm so happy this product exists. I'm doing oil pulling and taking your Cod Liver Oil softgels to help remineralize my teeth. I'm also taking them to get the fat soluble vitamins. And I think a small percentage of fat in the diet help promote fat loss. I don't know why, but I have lost weight. They taste great and are easy to swallow too and don't give fish burps. They were also a fresh, good quality product and an amazing price (please don't raise it, ack!). I really love this product and I wanna buy more when I can afford it. I have them on my desk and I took 2 just this morning. I think these are also helping my skin. So the reasons I'm taking them may take some time to notice, but I really like these alot and will definately buy more at some point in the future. Thank you!
