Open Your Eyes to What's Around You.
I liked it all, especially the end where the reality of the lives of tigers is put out.

Best tiger footage, they are the actors!
A total original! One of my very favorite movies. I never tire of it and I'm a 55 year old woman, and no children around. The movie is geared more towards adults,I believe, with its storyline. But the amazing footage of the tigers, who are the true actors here, will keep the kids captivated. Enjoy. I would suggest watching with subtitles. If you aren't in to subtitles than I think with a great movie, watch it first without and then a second time with subtitles. And if after the 1st viewing you're thinking you didn't much like it enough to want to sit and watch again, try it, with the subtitles. It fills you in on all the sounds the cubs are making and it can really draw you in to their personalities. And could be a new appreciation for the subtitles and eventually gain so much more from storylines and acting. Even a far deeper appreciation of the directing of a film.

Excellent movie
The movie itself was fantastic. It is about two brothers - tigers - who try to live their lives in peace until mankind comes along and breaks up their family. The two tigers each go on seperate adventures but towards the end through twists of fate are reunited.A few observations -(1) Other reviewers noted that the movie was rife with animal abuse. I did not find this to be the case at all. It was true too it's rating and very PG. Most of the alleged abuse is implied (which is bad in itself) but I was glad that it was not depicted in film.(2) While mankind does many things well, we are absolutely the worst at being stewards of the planet. I pray to the big guy in sky and sincerely hope that mankind will come around to doing more to preserve and protect this beautiful animal. The world will be so much worse without the "Lord of the Jungle" in it.(3) In the 1940's there were 450,000 lions, today there are like 20,000. In 1910 there were 100,000 tigers, today 5000. These statistics are absolutely pathetic.(4) Countries need to step up and make the trade in all things big cat illegal. Even here in the US, if we would declare some of these animals endangered it effectively stops the trade in these animals and make it a felony to trade in suffering.

Cute movie
It's a cute movie, but quality is not so great and the story is very predictable. The boy doesn't age, but the tiger does, despite how much change a boy that age would experience in the approximate three year span for the tiger to get that size. They also constantly switch out the tigers in the middle of shots, not only are the stripes evidently different to a big cat enthusiast such as myself, but the genders change constantly too. lol

Nature vs Nuture
Nature or nurture -- this is one of the most brilliant and beautiful love stories between animals and people, and between animal and animal (brothers). I have re-watched it so many times because I keep showing it to children and adults alike for the lessons it contains. Two tiger brothers who start life, one as a brazen, wild and fearless youngster who is protective of his sibling who is carefree, has an insatiable curiosity and always getting into trouble, and who is afraid of everything, including his own shadow. The father is killed protecting the family, the mother is later killed by a hunter, so the brothers never learn how to be tigers in the wild! As each brother is captured by hunters, their shared memories together fade as they will never to see each other again. The path each tiger takes throughout life changes them and reverses the roles. A gentle playful coward becomes fearless and learned, and the wild and brazen is tamed. Memories return as spirits are broken and as spirits soar. This movie is marvelous and a must see.

Two Beautiful Creatures Interactions with Humanity
The heart-warming story of two tiger cubs, separated when young, but brought back together in a fight to the death by callous humans. Visually stunning, exciting and oft-times humorous, with two extremely well-trained tigers. Let's hope they were treated better than the "characters" they portrayed in the film. Quite how the director got some of the shots, I'll never know. An amazing film that I thoroughly recommend.
