Bought this for my Harbor Freight 2 HP vacuum machine because the original starting capacitor quit working right in the middle of a project. Go figure. This part was advertised as a one-day delivery, and it came in the time frame given! Very impressive! It worked perfect from the start. Happy with the product and the retailer.

Size matters
This was smaller in diameter than the original, but worked for what I needed.

Most large motor failures are due to the capacitor - This fixed it for me TWICE!
I purchased a used dust collector and it simply wouldn't start up. It came on, but couldn't spin up the motor. This little gem installed easily and fixed it immediately. I actually keep a spare now.

Good product-easy to install
Used it on my 'Green Monster' Harbor Freight shop dust collector. Worked fine. I added spade connectors to the leads from the origional condenser. Apparently there is no polarity to this type of 'start capacitors' so you can't screw up the wiring-either wire to either terminal. I believe the old one failed because I didn't empty the bag often enough and taxed the motor too much when it ran. So empty the bag when it is 1/2 or less full and take pains to clear the very fine particles embedded in the sack cloth.
