They're good...they work well for pancreatic enzyme insufficiency

An excellent product for someone with a diagnosed pancreatic insufficiency. It replaces some of the enzymes that are no longer being produced naturally in the body due to various medical conditions. It facilitates proper digestion and helps avoid gastrointestinal difficulties.

My old dog developed cognitive decline which brought with it difficulty in regulating his hunger. This supplement helped keep him satiated and more content. After being so programmed to spend money at the vet, this super-affordable "human" option did the trick. I never thought I'd have a sentimental attachment to a supplement.

A very severe pancreatitis attack took me by surprise last year and while I made it through, my pancreas can only make limited amounts of digestive enzymes and insulin. The doctor estimated that 2/3 of my pancreas is dead. That %&#$ isn't normal, believe me.Out of desperation and fear of losing consciousness and being found like Elvis, I figured I should at least try one of these enzyme supplements after reading that many (including this brand) contain the same three enzymes your pancreas creates to aid in digesting proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Capsules like these get their enzymes from pig pancreas, which is pretty much identical to ours who are higher up on the food chain. This one had quite a number of reviews and an overall good score.Since certain foods can make your output more odoriferous than others, I've done quite a bit of testing - high carbs with or without the enzymes, high fat with or without the enzymes, things like that. I can honestly tell you that these enzymes are most definitely doing something.It does take a couple days of taking these with every meal to notice a difference (and oh boy, is there a difference!) but there is no doubt that they work. The proof is (well, was) in the toilet and with a noticeable absence of a burning sensation in the ol' olfactory. I've put off getting enzymes for a few years now and finally ordered some. I have some from another company that are several times stronger than these from NOW, but wanted a less potent version for my lighter meals and snacks and these are perfect for that. They are probably potent enough for many people eating full sized meals but I err on the side of caution. It's a pure product with only the enzymes listed in it and because it's a capsule there is no taste to worry about. They do not bother me in the least in anyway and definitely do away with the symptoms I was having from eating various foods of late, such as wheat, heavy fats, carbs, etc. The older I've gotten the more foods were bothering me. If you have any symptoms after eating I'd suggest trying these. They're inexpensive and you can always increase the dose if it seems like you need to. I take right before I eat. I forgot one meal last week and took them after I ate and it didn't work nearly as good so remember to take them just before you eat. I notice some people just take daily and not necessarily before meals but I don't do that. It's working great as I'm taking them. I won't let myself run out because it's nice to be symptom free and eat mostly what I want.

These enzymes are pretty good, small pill, easy to swallow. Bought these on sale. For the money they are good, but this company has another enzyme (Betain) that I find to work faster & better.

Had some recent digestives issues and was told to take enzymes after big meals. My doctor gave me Creon. Needing a larger supply I tried this product and it works just as good as the more expensive Creon.

Best product. Affordable to common customers. For the last few years, after I am afflicted with certain metabolic disorders, normal life got into disarray, especially abdominal discomfort due to improper digestion. Prescribed for me Creon three times a day. Taken it for several months, but too expensive to afford it along with other vital medicines that I cannot avoid. I talked to my doctor about Now pancreatin and change over to this. Used it for a week now, though with concern, I feel much comfortable now than expected. I love this product as it gives better digestive health, also using Now's probiotic 10. Decided to continue these products till last for a healthy and happy life. I hope I would get it from Azamon on a quarterly basis to avoid skiping of ongoing doses.
