Why does your description list 3000 lumens in the title and (max output: 1000 lumens (max when using 18650 battery) directly below????

the 1k lumen flashlights are less than the 3k lumens. However, my 1k lumen flashlights shine brighter than this 3k. Flat out lie and charged accordingly. 50% more than the 1k sells for

So why after all this time haven't you fixed the description to the correct value?

The Description is correct BUT..only when using 18650 rechargable batteries with a 3000 Mah output..NOT with regular alkaline batteries...

I just bought this and even though it's only 1000 lumes in half hour of having it on the head got very very hot. Should it be that hot?

It should be scorching hot, burning your head with 2nd degree burns

This is a great question for the manufacturer. But what I can tell you is that this little light is very powerful. I have about ten of the lights, at home, in my cars and in my truck. Just make sure you get the rechargeable batteries. These lights love to eat up the juice.
