I purchased 200 of the Large clips. The large clips are sufficient capacity to easily clamp a 16 gauge outdoor power cord. The adhesive reminds me of 3M VHB though there are no labels visible and it isn't described as such in the product description. It isn't a thick layer of adhesive so, there is minimal gap filling capability which is why the description says for 'smooth' clean surfaces. I wanted a non-permanent means of hanging LED string lights around my covered patio and these delivered. The surfaces I applied the clips to were smooth aluminum and slightly dimpled aluminum. I wiped the areas with 90% alcohol. My project took 2 days. On day 1, temperatures were around 50 F. I used put up around 60 clips and hung lights/power cord as I went. The clips easily supported the weight of the lights immediately after application. The next day temperatures plummeted and it go no warmer than 34 F. The show must go on -- but, I knew at these temperatures the clips would not adhere with out some help. Once again, the area was wiped with alcohol, then I used a heat gun to warm both the surface and the adhesive pad on the clips. And once again, the clips were used to immediately support the lights/power cord without issues. The next day it was 17 F and all clips and lights were still where I put them. I placed some clips in the wrong locations and had to remove them. They would not budge until used the heat gun and even then they were reluctant to let go. I'm confident that the clips will stay in place regardless of weather until I decide to take them down.

These work great! At first, I wasn’t sure about buying this after reading some of the reviews, but I decided to purchase it anyway. The red tape was a little difficult to remove at first, but once I figured out an easier way to take it off, everything went smoothly.

Work well in organizing and retaining wires. Only criticism is that the retaining clip can easily twist to the point where the teeth on the clip disengage from the piece that holds it in place. Consequently, one has to use care in clamping wires in the organizers.

No issues and more than pleasantly pleased with these. Using these in a business (dental office) environment to easily tie down/lock down usb extension connections for dental sensors. Good holding power on the tape and lock down feature seems secure as well.

Re: ease of use: you need sharp fingernails to get these off easily…was usually a two hand job: difficult to do if you are holding a cable as well. You also need both hands to open the cages that serve as anchor: I used left thumb combined with right index finger. I could still hold the cable in my hand for that, though. However, they close and seal to trap the cable really well. Quality: glue was weak. As the video shows, I ended up requiring five of them to hold a dual anchored six foot power cable. Three was not enough to remain mounted. Re: ease of removal: I did not rate this as I expect that rating is something you do after an extended period of time to remove/replace cables. However, they came off easily during installation, which I would rate as a 1: there is such a thing as too much easy. Re: value for the money, I find myself less than impressed. It is not a value if you need to put an extra 2 anchors for every three installed at the beginning (just to place the cord). 6 ft cable anchored at both ends (outlet and monitor). 1.5 ft were anchored by the monitor itself and another 1.5 anchored by the outlet…leaves no more than 3 feet. Need ~1.67 anchors per foot. Again, that seems like a lot. Would be less expensive to get a larger size, if you could…then hope you can truly get 1 anchor per 1 foot of cable.

I chose this particular clip because of the inside curved strip that holds the wire snug once the clip is closed. The cable I used is flat which most clips do not accommodate. This clip can hold either a round or flat cable easily and is adjustable if needed once closed. The adhesive has a small tab to peal it back and adheres very well, The adhesive is the stronger kind, used in automobiles, not the white spongy kind. The package contains 50 clips and is worth the cost because of the design and quality.

These are very useful tools. Thanks to them, I finally organized the numerous wires from my electronics that were constantly getting tangled, which was inconvenient and unsightly. Suitable for both professionals and home use.

A better fastening belt would make these perfect. OK for my use.

Work exactly as advertised. Very sticky - not sure I'll ever get them off actually.
