For many years I have kept a ~1/2 watt night light in the bathroom for those late light visits and they do the job but I have always thought that a bit more light would be nice. A motion light might be nice but most of them are not adjustable, therefore too bright. Then I found these and wow, they are perfect! Though the brightest setting is far too much light for my purpose. With the brightness setting set at about ~1/3 it is the perfect amount of light! If I had to guess I'd say at ~1/3 setting its about 2x the brightness of a regular old ~1/2 watt night night. I put the other night night in this (2) pack above my dogs water bowl in case she needs a midnight sip of water. Now I can only hope these last as long as my regular 1/2 watt night lights which are both pushing on ~6+ years of age.

Our stairs are poorly lit. This light is very bright and helps me see better when using the stairs. Dimmable switch is nice, but I bought these for their brightness. Compact size leaves the second outlet unobstructed. Good value for 2 lights. Will buy again.

We have an almost blind dog that goes outside in the middle of the night. I plugged one in at the bottom of the stairs and one near the doggy door. He has no problems getting around now and you can't forget to turn them on! Very bight and also dimmable. I will be ordering more.

As nightlights go---and my house is full of different kinds of them to prevent falls---these are great. You can adjust the level of brightness because some places need full blast (stairs) and other, not so much (washrooms).They don't look bad being left plugged in, which never hurts.I wish I'd found these sooner. And I will be buying more.

I'd have to say they are great for staircases and walkways, but way too bright even on lowest setting for a bedroom. THey tend to shine right through your eyelids!

Lord knows the struggle of having the traditional nightlight and have to turn the switch on every night and off every day was real! If I ever forgot, the bulb will run it’s course faster. I was a slave of monitoring the darn thing.It all changed when I found this light. I saw the reviews about burning hazards which freaked me out but was hoping I’d be part of the ones who didn’t have that experience. However, with that warning in mind, I made sure I was home the first week of using this light just in case. I’ve had it for about 2 months now. Nothing has happened, not to say it wouldn’t happen any other time but fortunately, I have a safety hazard switch in my outlet which disables the outlet when it senses heat (many homes have this in their bathrooms.)Anyway, I couldn’t be happier!!!! I have these in my goat barn..I always have night lights for the barn and The kids are in a bigger barn than what I was used to It took a lot of single regular night lights. These have 3 LED Lights in each bar and they they have another feature that I always use, automatic lights come on at night and shut off at daylight. I only have to use 2 of these. 1 in each end of the barn ally. Also. You can adjust the brightness

Night lights are a good value. Brightness is good and sensor turns them on automatically when dark. Yet the plastic lens were noticeably scratched. Possibly a return was sold as new. Reported it to seller (DORESshop) and sent photos. They claimed scratches were due to shipping damage even though the box had no visible damage. Seal adhesive was partially off, implying it was previously opened. Two other reviews reported scratches, so this has happened before. Seller didn't accept responsibility but offered a courtesy 50% discount on a purchase of a second set. Didn't need more lights so the scratched ones were returned to Amazon for replacement. Purchasing new items but receiving used ones shows mediocre quality control and is not a good business practice. Lens on the replacements had no scratches. Seller should check items better and stop recycling returns as new.

Great value. They don't actually dim down to zero. Maybe 10% before snapping off, but I appreciate the manual off switch and the adjustable output. The amber light is easy on the eyes. Plenty bright enough for night time bathroom visits and baby checks, without having to turn on the room lights. Dusk til dawn sensor works as expected.

I have two of these lights on each end of my living room. My bedroom is upstairs above the living room and as weird as it may sound, I have a window in my bedroom that overlooks the living room. After the first night using these lights, I had to drastically reduce the slider on these lights because they were way too bright from upstairs. For my purpose, I just need to have the living room illuminated just enough so I can see in the dark. The automatic sensor comes on once the outside light becomes dim and the light automatically goes off once the sun is up again in the morning.

The brightness of the night-lites is variable if you decide they're too bright. They, however, at half-strength turn a bedroom or entryway into sort of white twilight. They are bright enough. They are for my stairway and for my entryway---for my cat. Cats do not see in darkness. Neither do puppies. So they need some kind of light to know where a litter pan or food is during the night. These are great!

These are probably the brightest night lights I've found, the light dimmer works as advertised, however there is no light sensing feature like it says. Its just on, or dimmed all the way down. If you shine a flashlight through the front (where the night light LEDs shine through) you can clearly see into the pin hole, and there is nothing there. It's just a bit of space, then the plastic light cover. Sure, the light sensor may be tucked hidden into the device, but it'd make no sense and require an even more sensitive sensor to work.Bottom Line: There is no auto on off at day/night.

Helps using the washroom in the middle of the night and works well for guests finding their way around in an unfamiliar house.
