There is a printed instruction book with it so it's easy to refer to it when needed rather than having to download instructions online as is often the case these days. It's a really good basic little machine, it feels well built and can do do everything I need it to at a very reasonable price. I am really pleased with it and have no criticisms to make apart from the foot pedal is so light it wanders about a bit, but that is a very minor thing. I had amassed several garments which needed shortening and various other jobs which could be easily tackled with a sewing machine rather than by hand so I did some research and purchased this Janome 219S. It is absolutely perfect for me as I only need it for very basic sewing jobs. The machine comes with a dust cover and is light enough to be easily lifted onto the table.
