Worked better than I thought. Put this on my dewalt 18v impacter with a makita 18v battery and it worked really well. Only thing is you can’t charge the makita battery with the adaptor on. The makita battery has to be charged on a makita charger

Bosch tools are very misleading and do not make it clear which battery is compatible with which power tool. I bought a bosch trimmer because they claimed their batteries are universal,but the ones I have for my drill and screwdriver also Bosch did not fit. Their customer service and complaints just fobbed me off. The battery is almost as expensive as a tool. So when I found this to enable use of my existing batteries I was delighted. It works a treat. Have read reviews about shorting out and draining battery when not in use, haven't had any shorts, and I always disconnect from battery when not in use. The descriptions of these converters is often confusing, so you have to read very carefully to check it's converting from the battery you have to the tool you are using.

This allowed me to use my DeWalt batteries on the Bosch Hedge pole (DeWalt don’t make one). It is very useful and reasonably compact but the latch of the DeWalt battery doesn’t click in to the adapter as positively as it might so you need to check it is secure as I have had it fall out.

Bought for a makita battery to fit into a dewalt nail gun and it worked fine for about 10 minutes then stopped working so pretty rubbish
