We age by oxidation and stress. I'm fair skinned and burn easily, and have been lathering sunscreens for years when out mowing, yard work or just having fun outside. Sunscreens are great, but after they take on the damage they protected you from, they need to be washed off. You are left with a sea of random, oxidized organics on your skin (I'm a Ph.D. chemist BTW). I hate using them, you always miss a spot, they feel greasy, and you feel dirtier after working than just sweating.These shirts are AWESOME. I can forgo the sunscreen and wear the hoodie with the ventilated edge up under a ball cap, and can work all day with not a hint of sun exposure. They feel cool all day (at least here in NW PA 75-85F summers) working outside. Durability is great, as unlike using these for recreation or fishing, they do see some abrasion, but I have not noticed even on popped seem or hole in the year since I started buying these. I have five of these now, and love them. They feel nice too.

I work outdoors in the sun. These shirts and this brand is my #1 choice for UV protective shirts. They are light weight, cool wearing, nice fitting, quick drying and durable.

This is a great shirt, if it has any drawback it's that it doesn't have any pockets on the side for your hands

Bought for Mother’s Day for 70 year old mother for sun protection. In general, I find any women’s sun shirts taper and show every bump and curve in the body; therefore looking to buy men sizes. Bought light blue men’s size xxl, to give room around torso area (would normally wear a woman’s xl). Was a great fit in this regard being loose fitting so you can wear a bathing suit or tank top underneath, but as expected the sleeves were very loose fitting and long (cause it’s a men’s shirt) - but those can be rolled up. Love the material, very light weight and lots of air flow through the shirt under the arms and in the back where there are perforated pin holes to allow air flow. The hood is fairly large and drapes the head, but gives room to wear a hat under neath too...but great back of the neck protection from sun. Price is great compared to others I’ve bought for over$100. Just hoping the sun UV protection is as they say it is. Have yet to use it or wash it. Mother loved it as a sun cover. Loved it so much I bought a medium for myself and it fit perfect (normally wear a women’s medium to large. I’m 5’7 135lbs thin build wide shoulder).

My fiancé decided to give these a try and he owns about five now, he absolutely loves them. If he is out fishing, working in the yard, or out for a run he more than likely has one of these sweaters on. They are lightweight, breathable, durable, and comfortable. Also very easy to get stains out of and wash well. Highly recommend.

Right size, fit perfectly.

So I ordered a Mens Medium and I’m usually a medium to large in women… I absolutely love this shirt. It’s lightweight, breathable, stretchy, and warm enough I wasn’t chilled in the wind. I use this fishing and boating! I’m in love, it’s such good quality as well! Soft and silky as well, a must have in your wardrobe for outdoorsy things! Side note, I ordered the matching on for my partner but the size he usually gets, it was a bit snug so we went up a size and it was perfect in the arms, torso and overall fit!

Love these shirts! I wear them under my work clothes in the summer to keep me cool and to keep ticks off of my neck and from going down my shirt! It’s not advertised for tick protection but that was the main purpose of my purchase and it was great. The comfort and cooling aspect of it was awesome as well. The only complaint I have with these shirts is they stain really easily, and after one wash was a dull white. It didn’t bother me because I use them for work and wear them under my clothes but if you’re buying it for looks that’s something to be aware of. Large fit nice and loose but not too big, I’m female, 175-180lb and 5’4”.
