Looks great and adds function/versatility
I got this so that the dogs would have a place to ride when we take them camping. It works great for that, and so much more. We also were able to store luggage, souvenirs, anything that is too tall for a tonneau cover but still needs to stay dry. It is easy (though admittedly, inconvenient) to access from the side panels or back panel you just need to unzip. I am able to fold it down to regain full use of the bed in about 5 minutes, very easy to do. The initial install was not too bad, my son and I were able to install it in about an hour and 15-20 minutes. It is a fairly straightforward process. In a heavy rain, water will seep in at the corners, but that I am sure is due to improper adjustments by myself during install - the design of the top is actually very good. I did not make any adjustments or tightening after I actually installed it so I am sure that is a problem that can be easily resolved.Overall I would definitely recommend this I am very pleased with the purchase.

bad fitment
I never really write reviews. But i have to say i am extremely disappointed with this top. I've always had bestop tops for my jeeps and they hold up well and fit great. But this bed topper is terrible. It looks great but the fitment is way off. The canvas fits very loosely. it doesn't stay in the lower track. So every time you drive it unhooks from the bottom which allows the elements in. for $1300 I would expect something that works. I should have gone with the Softopper version.I tried to do as the seller suggested and go through bestop for warranty. Customer service has replaced all the canvas for the top and it still continues to happen. I should have returned it when I could. Now i am out of the return window and stuck with this thing.

Not 100% what you would think
Received box, which was already opened at one point. Very loosely packed with all the contents sliding around. It was wrapped in plastic, but sloppy to say the least. I get the design of what they were trying to do, but the execution was not what you would expect. For starters, the frame, no matter how much you square up, would not secure down 100% flat. I have a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 and you are very limited to the underside of the bed rail to where the 4 clamps would be 100% flat to the underside surface. There are only a few spots where the clamps would line up and they weren't where they recommended. The frame was just bowing and not 100% sealing with all the corners having at least 1/4" + gap. That was with adjusting clamps as best I could without denting the truck bed rail. Then there comes getting all the pieces together. It is almost near, but not, impossible to get the zippers started to add panels. Removing them? forget it. If you have issues with your fingers from age (I'm 58) it just outright sucks. Top it off, 3 snaps didn't line up. And the side upright frame sections are so impeding on the interior it takes away from cargo space if you want to pack up the truck with gear. Overall, I just removed and repacked back up and shipped back. Went and spent the extra money and got a real truck cap that fits and seals properly. Oh well, I tried.

Get the Softopper
The softopper brand version is superior in every way. This thing would not have lasted 2 months. I had to lift the back to get the tailgate to shut. The only time it was manageable was when the top would accumulate giant pools of water after a rain pulling everything tight. The sides and back would come undone going down the road allowing cargo to slide out. Let’s just say customer service was less than helpful when I called. (Typical frat bro Todd was clueless). Glad to have the opportunity to try and return this item without losing a ton of cash.

Looks great and perfect fit
This topper was not to difficult to install if you are used to vague directions. Fit is good and material is thick.

Great alternative to tonneau cover or hard cap
This product did exactly what I needed it for. We own a clothing business and go to a lot of events with our booth set up. There are times that I need to take taller items as well as times where I need a lot of storage totes kept out of the weather. I was able to increase my tote count from 6 to 15 when I changed from my tonneau cover to this one. Installation was easy, just give yourself an hour and a half to 2 hours to complete it.The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the back window is a little too loose to fully secure to the bottom bar. I have just started troubleshooting though and will update to 5 stars if I find the solution.

Good materials, not a good design
First, when I installed this there is a gap in the front corners. The fabric is tight so hopefully these go away in time (this is with following the directions with 10” form corner)Secondly and most important, the back window is too loose and comes off of the bar very easily. I had to put a cut in the bottom middle and zip tie it to the bar to avoid it flapping. I doubt that I would lose anything with the zippers and I doubt the bar would fly out because of the corners but it still makes me nervous ( I reread the instructions about 10 times to ensure that I installed right and I did. Finally when putting the side bars together, the first was easy and the set screws fit right, on the second one both screw holes were drilled too small. I was able to tap it out to the correct size but it is frustrating to have to tapYour own holes when paying this much money. I would return this if it wasn’t such a pain to take apart and repackage it.I would recommend them altering the design on the back back and connection to the window. It does not seem to have enough support to secure it to the vehicle. Especially in cases like mine that the back window fits quite loosely. The other three sides were tight as I expected.
