Worked on 2004 VW Beetle
Used this to remove the stock stereo from a 2004 VW Beetle and it worked great. Doesn't seem all that sturdy, but that may be due to it needing to be thin to fit the slots. Looked up a video online to ensure I had it pointing the correct way. The stereo pulled right out and then I was able to press the clips on the side of the stereo to release the tool.

Simple and Effective
I have a 2007 Audi A4 with a Symphony stereo set and these keys worked perfectly. For double din radio models you will need two sets of keys (4 keys total). While some people might not like the added expense it was worth it to me. No hassle and no damage to the stereo unit. I would advise buyers to be careful when pulling on the keys to remove the radio. Some of the key edges are a bit sharp and I did get a small cut. No problems other than that! The product arrived in good shape and on time.

Works great! Follow my tips :)
Keys worked great. They are not sharp as some other reviews stated. Once they are inserted you have to wiggle the top set together and then the bottom set together. Especially if the radio has not been removed in a long time. If one happens to pop out before radio removal, pop it back in and when pulling outward ever so slightly pull sideways towards the prospective door (drivers for drivers side and passengers for passenger side key). This will help the key catch the internal clip. Once the radio is out don't just yank the keys out, you will probably break the clips. There is a release button at each clip to release each key.

Cheap, stamped metal cutouts that get the job done
Very simple stamped metal cut outs the fit the exact slots for a limited number of stereos. Prefect for removing units that are not bolted into the frame. Mine was for removing the factory radio from a 2002 Mercedes.Worked like a charm. However, be careful with the sharp edges. There was no post-stamping sanding done.As with many stamped metal products like this (and you entire car under dash area), do not be afraid to keep you tetnus shots up to date. A cut from these might give you tetnus if somewhere along the way in shipping they were infected. (this is not specific to these, but to stamped metal products of all sorts)

we are very pleased with the job these keys did
These are not fancy and somewhat thin but they sure get the job done! I have a 2002 VW New Beetle that I recently purchased. The center dash bezel was damaged and you can't get it off without taking out the radio. (There are two screws behind the radio that secure the center bezel.) Anyway, several users have said that they cut themselves with them. We didn't have a problem at all but we were very careful with how we handled them. We stuck them in the slots until we heard them click and gently pulled. The radio came right out! Once you pull it out and unhook it, you will see a small latch on either side of the radio. Simply push the latch and the key will slip right back out. Although I don't plan on taking out the radio again now that the center bezel is repaired and back on, I will keep them in my car's tool box just in case. Overall, we are very pleased with the job these keys did! The seller was quick to ship, too. I ordered on Saturday afternoon and they arrived the following Thursday to our east coast home.

As described!
1) If you bend these and cut yourself and you bleed. That is 100% your fault. You should be able to push these in with 1 finger maybe 1/4 of an inch until it clicks. If you have to force them in to the point where you are bending them, you have the wrong tool. Also make sure you use the right end to avoid getting them stuck. To get them out, simply press in and hold on the side of the clips once the deck is out while you pull them out, wiggle left to right if needed.2) Its two to a pack, seems pretty clear to me from the picture but people seem to complain about it, make sure you know how many you need. These lock in place and need to stay there to hold the locking mechanism, so if you have four spots, you need four keys.3) Dealership wanted 18.50 each. Need i say more?4) If you don't know what you are doing (example: Sticking the wrong key into the wrong hole, bending them, cutting your hands,) Stop blaming it on the seller. You don't know what you are doing and thats ok, learn from it and stop pointing your finger at someone else.

Worked on my Audi R8 but ….
Spent a little more money on 2 sets of these based on success of others. Took a lot of attempts to get them to click in but finally got all 4 corners secured. The Keys are thin and the design is not easy to pull on but got it done.
