I just used these brushes today and they were VERY effective in their purpose! I used them around the toilet seat hinges, and to clean soap scum from the corners of the drain chutes of a solid bamboo soap holder. That took a bit more elbow grease, but by combining soaking it in hot soapy water, to soften the soap scum, and scrubbing hard with the larger brush, the soap holder looks brand new again! The toilet seat hinges were much easier and quicker to clean and those crevices are clean as a whistle again! These crevice tools are very ergonomic to hold. The handles are easy to hang on to...no slipping in the hand during use, and the handles are good and sturdy....not an inkling of bending. The 6.5 inch item length, as shown in this listing, is a generous size. This from a girl with larger hands than the average gal. (Yes, they're approximately the length of a manual tooth brush.) And last but certainly not least, the brushes are good and stiff, making cleaning crevices a walk in the park! After finishing and cleaning and sanitizing the brushes with a squirt of tub and tile spray and a rinse, the brushes look like I hadn't even used them at all! I think Oxo may have improved the quality since the flimsy brush issues shown in reviews from a few years ago.🤷 For the inquiring minds 😏, the listing video shows this item with both black brushes and orange brushes, but mine are black. The color of my set is exactly as shown in the first photo...black and gray, and that's fine with me, not that it really matters much IMPO. 😏 These are good quality brushes and I highly recommend this crevice brush set! 🙂

As a kid, my mother made me clean the basement bathroom (the one that everyone used) every weekend before I could hang out with friends. It wasn't just a "scrub down the shower stall, wipe the sink, and clean the toilet" job, either. I had to scrape the grit from the door rails and clean every little crack and crevice until the bathroom sparkled. Needless to say, I hate cleaning bathrooms to this day, and while a general disdain for the task is my primary motivation, there is also the fact that my hands cramp horribly when trying to get into the tighter areas, such as behind the sink faucet. If only there was an easier and less painful way of getting to those places! Construction Enter the OXO Good Grips Deep Clean Brush Set (henceforth referred to as OXO DCBS). Until I bought these I generally found myself browsing the generic toothbrush section of my local store. While toothbrushes do an "okay" job, the bristles are too uniform in size and are generally never up to the task of a vigorous scrub. This is where the OXO DCBS comes in: while they look like toothbrushes, they are far more durable and functional than even the stoutest Oral B product. • Each brush has a separate function. The larger brush has stiffer bristles and a flatter surface, making it ideal for cleaning grout. The smaller brush is not as firm, with the bristles being tapered away from center, ideal for cleaning tight surfaces since the bristles will reach the desired area even when the brush is angled. • The silicone tip/chisel at the opposite end of the smaller brush is ideal for cleaning the rims of the drain or getting gunk out of a tight corner. This end will not scrub, but it is both firm and flexible enough for the tip to clean out dirt that is loosely packed where the brushes just can't get enough bristles into for cleaning. • On the back of the brush head on the larger of the two is a small rubber indentation that you can press your finger into for those really grimy messes that need some extra elbow grease. This gives you a bit more control so that you can get what you are cleaning as sparkling as possible. • The black areas of the brushes are the same grip that OXO® uses on many of their cooking products. If you are not familiar with them, the black areas are a rubberized coating that enables you to maintain a good hold on the handle, rather than having it slip from your hand when you are vigorously scrubbing with it. Okay, Stacy, the detailed description is great, but is the OXO DCBS worth the money? YES! With the rubberized grip to ensure that you can get a good scrub, a silicone chisel tip to clean out gunk in tight places, and TWO different brush heads that serve different functions, you will never need to worry if you grabbed the wrong toothbrush to clean the commode again! Being able to clean the base of the faucets around the house all of the way around, including behind them in tight locations where a backsplash prohibits maneuvering your hands, almost makes the cost worth it by itself. Between small details like being able to press down on the back of the brush head in order to scrub a bit harder on a particularly dirty area, the wider-than-a-toothbrush handles that have that familiar OXO® rubberized coating to ensure a safe grip, and the host of other features that I listed in the “Construction” section of this review, I am very happy that I purchased these brushes. No, I still loathe cleaning bathrooms, but at least now I will be able to clean those tight spots easier, quicker, and without my hands locking up in pain. I can honestly say that the OXO Good Grips Deep Cleaning Brush Set is worth the money.

I clean and refill my feeders for hummingbird feeders in my backyard every week. I was hoping these brushes would solve the bottom of the feeder issue but they don't. Not the brushes but the direction of the brushes. However, they do handle other jobs around the house is stellar fashion.So, a good buy from Amazon. As an example, my tile shower wall needs work weekly and these tools do the work. I am happy and I hope you will be too.

I always like OXO products. These are excellent for cleaning both the sink and tub faucet and drain areas. I bought a second set to use on the kitchen sink area. They work really well and make cleaning easy.

Pretty much everything OXO makes is practical and very good quality. These sturdy little brushes are no exception. I bought two sets, one for each of my bathrooms. With them I am able to get in the curves around bathroom fixtures when I clean. The rubber end on one of them is flexible and can clean very tight spaces.

According to my Amazon order history, I’ve bought three sets of this handy scrubbing duo, and may well buy another in a few months. I’ve bought multiples not because they wear out, but because I like having a set for the kitchen, the bath, and for my gardening tools and pots. As is the case with most Oxo products, these are designed with the human form in mind. While I could take care of some grout-scrubbing with a toothbrush, even the more ergonomic toothbrush handles I’ve tried are nowhere near as comfortable or as grippy as the handles of these tools. The bristles are resilient, springing back to vertical and not staying mooshed over or fanned out, as is the case with generic grout brushes and toothbrushes. Bristles also are well-anchored in the scrubber heads, avoiding the issue of shedding. The bigger brush is excellent for scrubbing the grout of all but the most closely fitted tiles. The bristles are long enough to reach recessed grout and densely packed enough to make the most of your elbow grease. If you’ve got an espresso machine, the smaller tool is genius. The brush end works great for cleaning brew groups, filters, drip pans, and dump boxes that hold the used “pucks” of grounds. The flexible tip is small and yet strong enough to help with residue around the O-ring notch, as well as to squeegee away minute grounds and debris along tracks and in corners and crevices. Even without an espresso machine, the smaller tool is handy in the kitchen. The brush side is helpful for cleaning anything from narrow containers and jar/lid threads to sink stoppers and the base of the faucet where it meets the sink/countertop. The flexible tip also is good at scooting off cooked-on remnants from patterned Bundt and cupcake pans and from pans with raised grilling ridges.
