Review: Strap in!! - Let's just start this off by saying that this needs to be on your TBR. I was hooked right from the start. Bria is such a badass. I love a woman that could kick my ass six ways from Sunday, and Bria is that woman. And, as if that wasn't enough, she's such a multi-dimensional character. She has depth, flaws, fears, charm, and basically everything you could ask for in a main character. It was such an awesome experience getting to witness her character development as she started to question the rules that she'd lived by for years and how she started to examine the relationships in her life from a different point of view (Won't say too much for fear of spoilers). The journey between Bria and Eli was something else. They're both so similar but different at the same time and it just works. Both of them had their own backgrounds and felt so real. It's going to take a while to get them out of my head! There is a lot of violence in this book, but it's not there just for the sake of it. It serves a purpose and isn't unnecessarily gratuitous or gory. It was perfectly written to enhance the plot. There is also a lot of sex in this book and it was written fantastically! Definitely high on the spice rating! I could go on and on about how good this book is, but to be honest, I could never do it justice. Just order your copy now, you won't regret it! Review: so good! - Who doesn’t love a bad ass FMC, especially one who is una1iving all the people who wronged her. Bria escaped from a cult and stumbled upon Samuel, her saviour. They both then dedicated themselves to find the people who made her hurt, and hurt them back. When Bria meets Dr.Kaplan everything changes. This was most definitely insta love in my eyes; even if they both “hated” each other. The chemistry with both of them, the dual pov was absolute perfection, I couldn’t put the book down. The twists and turns in this book, I was trying to figure it out at every page but it just kept surprising me. I loved the spice, every scene I was aching to read more. Let’s say Dr Kaplan has d4addy vibes, and I definitely wasn’t complaining. The book has some triggers so do check these before hand, but if you want a book with angst, a lot of spice and a really good plot then you need to pick this book up.

LOVED BLACK SHEEP making it another Brynne Weaver book that I am obsessed with.
Tropes: Dark romance | $erial K!ller FMC | SPICY & K!nky | Dual POV | Student x professor | Morally grey characters | He falls first I started this book knowing I would love it because I simply enjoy the way Brynne Weaver writes and creates her characters. In Black Sheep, we have Bria Brooks, who is thirsty for vengeance and demands payment in blood, and Dr. Elijah Kaplan, the nerdy/hot K!NKY professor. Both characters are drawn to one another physical attraction to one another. They also have the same goal: to find Caron Berger. The story has a good pace that draws you in from the first page. I could not stop reading. Overall, I loved reading Black Sheep, both authors delivered an addictive and entertaining read with lots of spice!

Spicy Serial Killer & Hot Professor
There is something about a story with a female serial killer that just always hits the spot! Now add in the hot professor and we have hit the jackpot. This was smart, witty, spicy and darkly romantic. I did wanted more from the cult side of the story, it was so interesting I would have liked to have read more. But the characters, story and development was soo good, I loved this book!

As soon as I started I finished practically in one sitting, I loved every second, the slow burn at the beginning then the spice things I didn't expect but welcomed with surprise. I would have liked if Samuel was a little bit more involved and the scene where she actually did kill the mf in the end. The book is great, if you like dark romance and powerful women finally trusting someone enough to be vulnerable with, this would be a perfect fit!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the very beginning to the end, there were no troughs where I had to push on because I'd lost interest but wanted to see it to the end like many books I read. I appreciated the authors treating their readers as an intelligent audience, giving just enough detail and background so that the story can continue nicely. And a great story it was. Definitely recommend a read.

I had high expectations about this one, but unfortunately, I got bored quickly enough. The thrill of the beginning wore off too soon, and at its place, the (slow) romance part took stole the show. The promise of a woman serial killer become just that, a promise, but I was expecting so much more. More grit, more gruesome scenes. The mission itself became a ghost of a plot line, a pity, really. I ended up skimming a lot of paragraphs, until the 80% mark, when the pace picked up again, toward a satisfying ending.

A dark academia like romance story following Bria and professor Kaplan. Bria has secrets and a darkness around her that Kaplan can't stay away from. She's an ex cult person trying to get rid of the evil of the world aka cult leaders. Kaplan works with an FBI agent to get rid of these same cult leaders. Unknowingly while sleeping with the person who's killing their leads. A very dark spicy book that I absolutely loved and could not put down. Spice rating of 3.5/5 for me personally. This book had me enthralled from the start. A standalone story that is a must if you liked the mindfuxk series.

De kijk op de twee personages is een goede mix op het verhaal. Eerste deel van het verhaal vond ik echt fantastisch. Iedereen houdt van een goede vijand. Helaas viel het einde een beetje tegen. Te voorspellend
