I sure hope these are not made in China because they do smell like a dead cat every time you open the bottle. And in China they use everything but the oink if you know what I mean. But I have trained myself to hold my breath and get them down before it makes me have a bad reaction. I do think they are working though because the joint pain is better than before. It is a higher dose than other brands. Overall, it was ok but the smell, man they should do something about that.

I'm not sure if these work or not as I'm using them for my dog for her liver enzymes, but they smell terrible. The one Sam-e that I have used before that comes in a blister pack and is a pill, not a capsule, has no smell, but they are way more expensive. I may have to go back to those because of the smell.

Most SAM-e products are so strong on the palate that, for me, I start gagging before I can swallow them. They taste, to me like 10 fold strong brussel sprouts. This brand however is the most consumable I've tried. The taste is faint but SO much easier to take!! This is my go-to brand for SAM-e. They took the pain out of it. The price is quite respectable for such a good quality product.
