Yes , you can push or pull the pedals rail closer or further to adjust the pedal closer. There are red lubber pieces that lock the location in place.

Yes it’s compatible the pedals are held down with a strap and it’s sturdy enough. You should be fine.

Q: What's the difference between the New and Original versions?

The new Playseat Challenge has a new material on it called actifit, which is a more breathable material than the old material, that is the only difference.

Poor fit of the parts

Bit fiddly with the part that is supposed to fit into another part and then rotate to enable you to enter and exit. It is just too big to fit in easily. Plus it doesnt go all the way through so the fit is not good and it doesnt even rotate properly. After some days, it just got stuck and doesnt move at all.
