GiroMonica II Gel Women's Road Cycling Gloves

For reference, I wear a size medium in Pearl Izumi and Louis Garneau cycling gloves, and a size 7 in women’s cashmere-lined fine leather gloves. Following the advice of other reviewers, I went up to a large in these gloves. I’m glad I did, because they were quite snug at first. I rode 62.5 miles the first day & brought my old gloves along, in case these new ones hurt. These were AMAZING! Padding is exceptional, and despite getting caught in several downpours during the ride, they held their grip & dried quickly. Interestingly, no hand numbness on this ride, and I typically log 25 - 50 miles/ride several days a week. Immediately ordered two more pairs when I got home. Color is bright & white palms naturally got dirty from gripping black handle bars. No blisters or rough seams, and glove-removal loops worked great. Highly recommend!

Based on the reviews, I purchased a large instead of medium. I wish they would have had X-Large. Very snug, but I wore them around the house for a bit and my “man hands” seemed to stretch them out. Hopefully that continues but not to much. I really like the white palm since my bar tape is white. The padding is nice too!

Pros: Nice padding on the palm area.Cons: I’m solidly a M in gloves, but these were very snug — will return and replace with a L. The white fabric is quite thin and a bit transparent, so you’ll need to wear sunscreen on your hands.

Way Too Small. Eeeeeekkkk!

The gloves are microscopic. I tried to return them but missed the deadline. They little might fit a three year old. I have very small hands and wear x small gloves from this brand. The ones that came…I could not get three fingers into. They are literally half the size of my hand. Honey I shrank the adult bicycling gloves!

While I do not bike, I might now given how much I like these gloves. I bought these at the suggestion that I bring gloves for a 5-day Via Ferratas tour in Italy and I'm VERY glad I not only purchased gloves - but that I bought these Giro gloves specifically. They fit well, saved my hands from sharp rocks, and are kinda nice to look at too. Sorry if these throw off reviews for bikers - but thought I'd add it in from a different angle.

Quality is fine, however it runs exceptionally small. I originally ordered a medium and returned for a large. Even a large is a bit tighter than I’d like. I’ve never considered myself having large hands, all other gloves I wear small/medium.
