This is the 10th book in the brilliant Chestnut Hill series, written by hugely respected author Lauren Brooke, who also wrote the bestselling Heartland series.Lauren Brooke displays her outstanding ability to write a fabulous book packed full of horses, friendships and a little bit of romance in parts. The main heroine out of the four in the other books is in this one Malory. For those of you who have read some of the others, this book focuses quite a bit on problems surrounding Malory's widowed father, mostly. I don't want to give too much away - you'll just have to read the book!For those of you who haven't read any of the other books, you should definitely read the series. I would strongly recommend not starting on this book, because although it keeps the high standard from the first half of the series, you do need to have read the other books to really care about what happens in this one.A very moving, emotional storyline, with twists and turns. You will find yourself feeling as if you are in the story, and caring about the people in it, if you have read the rest of the series.

This item was all it was advertised and well received as a Christmas present. This was a very good buy and will be repeated.
