Great for working in a small pan
I like this spatula to help move the cooked eggs away from the side of the pan as I cook an omelet in an 8-inch (20 cm) skillet. This allows the uncooked eggs to contact the pan so the omelet cooks more quickly. I also like to use it when making crepes, together with my fingers, to turn the crepe over in the pan, and to remove the crepe from the pan when finished cooking. If used with high heat the spatula will begin to melt. On my first one I have used a wood chisel to trim the melted areas from the tip, providing a new wedge tip with a thin leading edge. Because I like the narrow shape I have bought two more to have on hand should I overheat one beyond such repairs. They are rather inexpensive.

I'm at the age where I have a favorite spatula
Having a favorite spatula is like having a favorite stove top burner - we all have one but no one talks about it. This is my favorite! Honestly, can't even tell you why. It's easy to use, sturdy and thin....thin as is it's easy to get it under food to flip it. I bought two because I liked it so much. It's the spatula I always look for first and am often disappointed when I find it's in the dishwasher.

It really is my favorite spatula
This spatula size and shape are perfect for flipping smaller items like single eggs, small pancakes, etc.My only complaint is that it's just made of regular plastic, so it can't withstand high heat. It will melt at the edge if it's used for too long on a surface that's too hot. If you have family members who won't remember to only use it on lower-temp surfaces, this may not be the spatula for you.

Exactly what I needed!
I despise flexible spatulas. They're always too thick to easily slide under the food and dont provide enough stability. This little spatula is great! Its shorter than most so if you're looking for long handled, this isnt for you but I really like the shorter length. Its long enough to keep my hands out of the heat but short enough to be easily manageable. The plastic is sturdy and thin with a beveled edge that easily slides under delicate things. It IS narrow though so its best use is more of a sauté tool than a flipping tool but I like it so much that I also bought the wider slotted Norpro and the even wider, solid omelette turner. I read a couple of reviews that reported heat issues but so far, I havent had any problems even though I do have a habit of leaning the spatula on the lip of the pan. I've used a lot of different spatulas through the years but these Norpro spatulas are my favorites. These probably wouldnt stand up to critique of a professional chef but for a veteran home cook like me, theyre just fine. Theyre inexpensive and they work great. Try this one.

Not heat resistant as advertised
Total junk —-do not buy! claims 500° heat resistance… That’s totally untrue. They were in the top rack of my dishwasher and they both melted. I have had similar spatulas before with never a problem.

The perfect all-purpose kitchen spatula
We’ve had one for years and it’s always in use or in the dishwasher. So, I decided to buy a 2nd one. Twice the utility. And the decade old one looks just as good as the brand new spatula. Highly recommended!!

It's smaller than you might think, not the best value
It works really well, like better than you might think, it's somewhat perfectly shaped. However, this very small nylon spatula should be about $4 and it is like $9. I thought it would be a bit bigger and sort of have more oomph to it but really it's all you need when making eggs or something. Restaurant supply brands like this usually don't really make truly bad stuff because chefs would yell at them/not buy it. This just costs too much.
