Emulation
I wrote RetroPie to the included micro sd card. Just download the image and use the raspberry pi Imager from the pi website to write it to the sd card. Before you put it in your Zero, put all your roms on it in the correct folders because you have to remove the pi from the case to get the card back out.I use Linux and this all works exactly as described, a simple google search will help you if you have issues. I'm able to run all the snes and nes roms but the genesis roms are hit or miss. A few ps1 games are known to work also, like RE1.The only issue with RetroPie are the text-based configs. I'm sure they'll put it all into a GUI eventually. Really it's not difficult to configure if you need to, unless you can't read. Everything should work without a need for you to do that. Just make sure your zero is not sitting on top of anything flammable, it gets pretty hot.I love it 10/10. I'll buy a Pi4 soon and then I can emulate the big boys. This is sufficient for all your 8bit and 16bit needs.

Good kit, but not quite enough horsepower for my needs
This is a pretty decent kit, had almost everything I was looking for at a reasonable price, and all of the items worked fine out of the box. When I purchased it, I was looking for a lower-cost alternative to the Pi 3B that would be sufficiently powerful to run a headless server to control my 3D printer and possibly do some Python development. While I was able to configure the Pi Zero W to do that, I found it to be under-powered for my needs. The first indication was when installing Raspbian took a couple _hours_ to complete. I also have a Pi 3B, which, in comparison, took less than a quarter of the time to do the same.Compared to my Pi 3B, it also takes _much_ longer to execute processor hungry tasks like building and restarting the server application I was working on. For one task I was executing often, the additional cores of the 3B could complete the operation in less than 20 seconds, while the Zero W took in excess of 5 minutes. I had hoped that the smaller number of processor cores and less RAM in the Zero W would not be as noticeable as it was, since I wasn't running a graphical interface, but unfortunately it was a deal breaker for the use I had intended it.Despite the lack of raw processing power, I still feel the Pi Zero W is a decent little machine. I wouldn't use it as a replacement for a desktop/laptop computer or video processing, but it's definitely capable of running as a basic web or file server, or any number of other interesting tasks.

Complete package simplifies start-up
Get ready. The Pi Zero is really tiny! (I have been working with a Pi 3B + and I thought that was small.)Best things about this package:1) mini HDMI to standard HDMI cable. My Pi 3B + has a full size HDMI port so I wasable to connect it with a cable I had laying around the house. That won't work for the Pi Zero due to its mini port.2) Pre loaded NOOBS (new, out of the box, software) on a generously sized 16GB mini SD card. This saves about an hour vs. doing it yourself over the internet using another computer. Once installed, you still need to have your Pi Zero go to the internet and check for updates, download and install them. Plan another 30 - 45 min. for this.3) Mini-USB to triple standard USB port connector. During start-up you'll need to connect a USB keyboard and mouse to your Pi Zero. Again, due to the mini ports on the Pi Zero this adapter is essential. The keyboard and mouse I "borrowed" for this piece of start-up had standard USB connectors.Once up and running, I plan to operate my Pi Zero in a "headless" configuration. I'll access it over my home WiFi network either through the command line or use VNC Viewer for a virtual desktop. This means I'll never need the HDMI and USB items mentioned above ever again for this Pi. If I do expand my home IoT to include more Pi Zeros I can buy a cheaper kit without these items.

Wonderful micro server!
Going in I knew what I wanted to do with this device. I am aware of its limitations, and thus am not running a GUI on this device. Having the ability to run this as a portable headless server is amazing. I am running a few servers on this little device, and it is wonderful that I can take it with me on the road. The only thing that I found to be a bit of a pain is that this device has the same hardware specs of the first raspberry pi. What this means is that you have to use the armv6 architecture, which can somewhat of a roadblock. Armv7 is what most linux distros are supporting nowadays. I ended up just using Rasbian-lite, as it was the best supported OS that I was able to quickly get up and running. There are other distros out there that work, but I haven't explored all of them yet. Other than that, it just works! This kit has everything one needs to get up and running with little overhead. The SD card that it ships with is preloaded with NOOBS, and so it's basically plug 'n play. Overall, I definitely recommend this seller, and their kit.

Great overall kit with a bad SD card.
Bought this kit as a start up for several Pi Zero projects I have lined up. Camera system, heating oil tank monitor, and digital picture frame. For the money, I will 100% recommend this to anyone starting up a batch of Pi Zero projects. The extra few dollars for the mini to normal HDMI cable and USB hub is worth it in my opinion as I’m not a big fan of adapters like in the normal kit. Just plug these in, get started on setting up the SSH/VNC, and put them away. I also appreciate that the case is very sleek and doesn’t draw attention to itself. However, the SD card is really bad. If you can get it to work, then good on you but I tried for several days with a few different formatting and partition programs and couldn’t get anywhere with it. Also, the case keeps the ports a little far back so it can be a pain getting a good connection, but once it’s in there, you shouldn’t have any issues. In summary, this is a kit you buy ONCE if you don’t like adapters, then buy the normal kit, toss the adapters you get in a box, save the extra money, and buy a good SD card.

Excelente producto

Great starter kit
Has everything you need to get started. Minus one star because shipped to Australia without an adaptor or indicating one was needed.

Kit OK mais prise anglaise
Le kit est super et complet mais la prise du chargeur est au format UK. Ce n'était pas prévu ni sur la description, ni sur la photo. Il faut donc acheter un adatateur UK -> FR en plus.

Lots of stuff but mediocre quality. Buy your own ssd!
The kit itself is okay, but the SD card is absolutely useless. Mine arrived and after 10 minutes was already unusable giving read errors at the boot time. UK plug for the power source makes everything inconvenient. For the high price tag (3x the price of the board) I was expecting something much more polished.
